The food was outstanding- fresh and flavorful. The service was also outstanding, made us feel welcome. Also was COVID safe, heaters kept us warm- I took off my sweater after a few minutes. We had the tomato with buratta, quail with polenta, pasta with squash...to start. Then we had the maple duck with black garlic and the pacific halibut with fennel with 3 of the 4 sides- carrots, snap peas and fingerling potatoes. It was so good and we had plenty to bring home.More

This classy restaurant did not disappoint. The ambience while sleek and modern, managed to be warm and inviting. And although busy, the restaurant did not feel crowded nor was it loud. The food was delicious. Each dish we ordered was unique and flavorful (of course,...the avocado salad was a definite favorite). The Pinot Grigio we chose was unusual, and both our waiter and the sommelier assured us that it would be a perfect fit (it was!). The service was excellent: we were well taken care of and never felt rushed. Truly, a lovely dining experience.More

Disappointing visit. We had high hopes, but it failed. The service is friendly and attentive, but the food was average. This is a trendy and popular restaurant but it is trading on that and not being a serious restaurant. All style and little substance. Disappointing,

Went with friends for a private meal and wine tasting. Service was good but food was just ok. One dish which should have a highlight was inedible - very fatty lamb chops. Most other dishes were ok but not special-oysters and quail were my fav’s....Anyhow even though this place is very trendy and popular, I doubt I’ll be back.More

Food was excellent, from a relatively limited menu. Not much in the way of vegetarian options. Service also hard to fault - outstanding. Atmosphere not bad but not as good as the food or service. Overall, good but expensive. Would be happy to go back,...for business dinner on expenses.More

My third time at Craft LA for lunch. The food is exceptional as is the service. It's clearly a hotspot for business lunches, but we've only dined here between museum visits. The welcome and service always make you feel like family. The food is a...medley of wonderful flavors from ingredients of the highest quality. It's worth the splurge. Save room for dessert!More

This is a beautiful place with widely placed tables so one can hear your conversatio easily. The service was attentive but not intrusive. They had many interesting offferings. th beeet salad was hge and loaded wih beets. All other salads and sides were generously portioned...for...spliting or sharing. We ordered dessert which was superfluous as they gave us two rounds of amuse bouce desserts.More

Though we had made a reservation, we were kept waiting at the Maitre 'd's desk for some reason. Once seated, it was a wonderful space. My date felt the seats are too low but I was perfectly comfortable. An amuse bouche was brought us which,...sadly, I was unable to try, but my date said was delicious. We had a glass of rosé each (excellent list of wines by the glass) before ordering a Supertuscan with dinner (excellent and extensive wine list. I could drink about this list for weeks!)... Food: We ordered the Jidori chicken, the halibut, a green salad to start and potatoes gratin. The chicken was delicious (though the white meat was a bit dry), the halibut was overcooked and, frankly, not very interesting, the green salad was way overdressed (creamy dressings need to be used sparingly!). The potatoes, though under-salted, are delicious! No dessert. The service was also a mixed bag - one of the waiters truly had no sense of when/how to interrupt our conversation to a rather surprising degree. Overall, I'd recommend it, but I'm not yet convinced the food justifies the rest of the experience.More

I believe most of the dishes are served family style, and you'd need to ask the restaurant about gluten free preparation

Dishes are meant to be shared. I would suggest calling the restaurant to determine what options are gluten free.
