This is a spare and clean Vietnamese place. 2 areas for seating on either side of a central kitchen. The pho was very fresh and tasty. Stir-fried rice was also easy to like. Portions are generous for the mid-range prices. Kitchen was very accommodating of my vegetarian needs and the desire for milder flavors. I recommend it.

So apparently there are two rooms you can eat at. It looks like they bought the space next to them and just didn't remodel. We were a bit confused and so were all the people walking by talking about the restaurant as we sat outside to eat. Either way it was fine, we just wanted food. We ordered the banh... More

Very good Vietnamese food (and much better than its Silverlake location). They have two rooms. Opt for the one on the corner of the block if you can, or the outside patio; otherwise, there is little in terms of atmosphere. Good for food to go as well.

There are two restaurants on the SE corner of Main St. and Winston, between 4th and 5th, and this restaurant has both of them. They are connected inside but only for the kitchen, not the dining area. This is a family-owned restaurant, the closest thing you can get to fast food. The menu runs to noodly dishes, like pho ("fuh")... More

Quick eat counter service for Pho. Arrived and put two quarters in the meter for parking. Went inside, ordered, and was back to my car in less than 16 minutes. Pho- I give it a 7 out of 10. Service 10. Will come again when I am in downtown LA.

We came over for dinner as recommended by a friend who lives in LA. We booked the table for 5. The restaurant has a lovely location with the view. I am Vietnamese so my friends let me order all the food. I basically ordered all starters in the menu to try, and 4 main courses. The food were good, fresh... More

We had coconuts to start, then spring rolls, then pho - noodle soup. Service was slow due to Chinese New Year going on outside, but the mood was festive and noisy. People in the LA art scene eat here frequently.

Choose carefully as some of the food is extremely spivey . The soups were mild, extremely tasty with raw veggies to put in on the side . Curry chicken was way to spacey. We did exchange for another soup without any problems. Pleasant outdoor dining

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
