Gotta love Mexican food

My partner absolutely loves Mexican food and were recommended this place by our hosts so we had to try it and we are glad we did! The restaurant was nothing fancy and the wait time was about 15 minutes (for takeaway) but the food was authentic and affordable.

Easily, my favorite burrito in Los Angeles (so far). My roommate and I would frequent Tere's. I always got the Carne Asada burrito, and him the Chicken burrito, and we had nothing but praise for each meal. I just wish that Tere's was open on Sundays! (When you really need it after a Saturday hangover.) P.S. there's plenty of outdoor... More

If what you want/like is that texmex american some sell as mexican, you will prob dislike the place. Otherwise here you can get real mexican food, very affordable with friendly stuff. Real nachos, not doritos and they have horchata!

We live in the neighborhood and frequent this place. It's authentic Mexican food that is affordable. It avoids some of the pitfalls that you find in other Mexican restaurants like being too greasy, cheap quality ingredients, and a lack of any love put into the food. I love the nachos but everything is really good. I love the homemade chips... More

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Hollywood. Reliable home cooked food always satisfying. Long lines at lunch. Breakfast is delicious chorizo and eggs a must. Carne asada burritos and Chile rellenos and the enchiladas the tastiest. Homemade chips and salsa

Had wanted some Mexican food since the night before and we ate at a restaurant but it wasn't good at all. So we found this place last night on here and we decided to try it out and I'm glad we did because it was delicious!

My boyfriend was reluctant about going to this place as it doesn't look anything special. But, it was delicious. It was cheap and cheerful, very tasty and it was a strange but endearing place. I had a burrito (I think) and I think my boyfriend had enchiladas. Great stuff!

A favorite of local soccer moms, my wife bought takeout from here a couple of times. Bland, tasteless. Needed a quick bite yesterday on way to pick up my son so I tried it again. Watery bland guacamole and beans. Dry, tasteless chicken quesadillas. Suburban, bland, nondescript "Mexican" in the middle of Larchmont area. Go to Pinches instead, tons better... More

This is like home-cooked food: simple, tasty, authentic. The food is super fresh, the homemade tortillas sublime, and the guacamole outstanding. We've eaten here over a dozen times (and drive about a 1/2 hour to get here), and we have NEVER been less than impressed. The mole is gorgeous—complex enough to keep your tastebuds on edge, spicy enough but not... More

A bit of the same after all those years... but good and well executed. Still affordable with a great friendly attitude from the owners and the staff. The tortillas are not house made anymore but good quality.
