The pizza is truly delicious - best Chicago style you'll find in LA - others have tried, these guys succeed. Not only are the founder/owners from Chicago, so are the deep dish pizza pans - the real deal. The menu has lots of options, pizza and otherwise, offered with regular or vegan cheese. The salads are tremendous and the Sunset... More

This was not our first visit and though it is noisy, the food is good and service good. The salad was large and fresh and crisp.

This is the best Chicago style pizza in LA. If you don't know what that Chicago style pizza is then google it. It takes a while to make but that's all part of the process. Also the bread pudding is the best in LA. Josh is super cool too man.

We needed to find dinner. Found this restaurant in the binder our the hotel had in the room. Very tasty deep dish pizza. Atmosphere cool. Nothing matched. Chairs lamps etc.

I want to start out by saying that all the servers here were super friendly & on top of making sure your drinks were topped off. But...as a pizza place that people rave about, I guess I was hoping for something special in their crust or sauce or something. It was all solid but not the best or most memorable... More

Really really tasty pizza but it took an age to cook and we didn't even have the deep dish. Saying that, it was hectic so...

We had lunch here after walking round Echo Park for an hour or so. Perhaps we should have run round ten times, because the food at Masa comes in large portions. Other reviewers had recommended the deep pan pizzas so we thought we'd try one. We were going to get a medium sized one but Kelsi, our charming server, advised... More

I've lived in Chicago for 5 years and had all the great deep dish places there (Lou Milnati's, Giordano's, Uno, Geno's East), and frequently go to Tony's Little Italy in Placentia which has comparably good authentic Chicago-style Deep Dish. But friends suggested I try Masa so I finally made the trip to Echo Park and here are my thoughts: Pizza:... More

Allow 45 minutes for a deep dish pizza. It, as well as the bread and salads, were all very, very good. The place is eclectic, for instance none of the chairs at our table we're alike and some folks were hanging out on old sofas while waiting for carry out. The neighborhood is odd--"HIV Testing" is the lighted sign in... More

Yes, we make Chicago Deep Dish Pizza right here in Echo Park. All of our "masa" (dough) is baked fresh daily in our bakery, and our sauces & dressings are made from scratch. Ingredients are organic & locally sourced whenever possible & we are proud to serve "imported" Chicago favorites like Authentic Hot Giardiniera. Many of our dishes are old family recipes - lovingly passed down. Our Masa family hopes you enjoy your dining experience as much as we enjoy having you. Eat, Drink & Be Merry and... Don't Forget to Save Room for Dessert!
