This is the best Chicago style pizza in LA. If you don't know what that Chicago style pizza is then google it. It takes a while to make but that's all part of the process. Also the bread pudding is the best in LA. Josh is super cool too man.

I want to start out by saying that all the servers here were super friendly & on top of making sure your drinks were topped off. But...as a pizza place that people rave about, I guess I was hoping for something special in their crust or sauce or something. It was all solid but not the best or most memorable... More

Really really tasty pizza but it took an age to cook and we didn't even have the deep dish. Saying that, it was hectic so...

We had lunch here after walking round Echo Park for an hour or so. Perhaps we should have run round ten times, because the food at Masa comes in large portions. Other reviewers had recommended the deep pan pizzas so we thought we'd try one. We were going to get a medium sized one but Kelsi, our charming server, advised... More

Looking for pizza, pasta, comfort food in Los Angeles? This is the place. Chicago style pizza is the best! Salad was excellent, service top notch and friendly. Will definately be back.

I've lived in Chicago for 5 years and had all the great deep dish places there (Lou Milnati's, Giordano's, Uno, Geno's East), and frequently go to Tony's Little Italy in Placentia which has comparably good authentic Chicago-style Deep Dish. But friends suggested I try Masa so I finally made the trip to Echo Park and here are my thoughts: Pizza:... More

Allow 45 minutes for a deep dish pizza. It, as well as the bread and salads, were all very, very good. The place is eclectic, for instance none of the chairs at our table we're alike and some folks were hanging out on old sofas while waiting for carry out. The neighborhood is odd--"HIV Testing" is the lighted sign in... More

A nice and quiet family restaurant, although I saw more hipsters than families. Anyway the place has very good food. Been there several times. Good deep dish pizza, damn good (gotta call ahead or wait a while if you order it there, but worth the wait). Food service are friendly and polite, no attitude problems, if you know what I... More

At first we tried to get in contact with them which is almost impossible. They seem not to reply on E-Mail since I asked them. (Up to now: No reply!) Even o the phone, the phone rang over a Minute before a guy took up. The Food is good, but unfortunately they only do the delivery with Doorash...

Description
Yes, we make Chicago Deep Dish Pizza right here in Echo Park. All of our "masa" (dough) is baked fresh daily in our bakery, and our sauces & dressings are made from scratch. Ingredients are organic & locally sourced whenever possible & we are proud to serve "imported" Chicago favorites like Authentic Hot Giardiniera. Many of our dishes are old family recipes - lovingly passed down. Our Masa family hopes you enjoy your dining experience as much as we enjoy having you. Eat, Drink & Be Merry and... Don't Forget to Save Room for Dessert!
