I can only assume that the positive reviews have been written by people who own this Cafe. The food here is AWFUL. It is not "good home cooking" or even "diner eats". I hate McDonald's food - but the food here is even worse. Four of us had late morning meals here. I had the "Fish and Chips Special". San... More

This diner has been around forever. Long enough for th formica to come back as retro decor. The omletts are the draw (unless you want pancakes which are also awesome) and come with the best LA area biscuits and gravy and hash browns. The service is diner fresh and the coffee is hot and served in abundance. Get to Gaffey... More

This was recommended by our hotel and they were right. My hubby enjoyed his eggs and I had a chicken taco salad. They were surprised by my order, but it was really good. They are open until 12pm but definitely worth the visit.

Came across the Gaffey Street Diner the day before we were going to embark on a cruise. We had breakfast here and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. The food was good breakfast fare and the coffee was really good as well.

We met with some friends here for breakfast before setting off on our vacation. We have eaten here a couple of years ago and were pleased with the food back then. The staff are warm and welcoming. The food portions are ample and well prepared. The servers kept the coffee cups full and were attentive but not overly bothersome. This... More

Never thought of having Chile Verde as a breakfast option, but it was amazing! Very large portion and full of flavor. Item is listed daily as a "board special", and made everyday. Portion was large and breakfast included eggs, potatoes and toast for under $10. This is a homemade favorite for sure!

The food was very good, but the diner itself could use a sprucing up a bit. The service was also very friendly.

Went here solo for breakfast. It's another Triple D spot so I had to try it out. It was pretty good. I got the John Wayne Special. A tortilla topped with breakfast potatoes, onions and peppers in a Spanish sauce, and then 2 fried eggs with sausage patties around the outside. It was really good. The sausage was amazing! Not...
