The food is uber fresh, delicious and interesting. The restaurant is clean, lively but relaxing. Wonderful for breakfast or lunch.

Disappointed after having a great breakfast and brunch during prior visits. Short on staff, poor service and strange mixings of spices on main courses not appetizing. Drinks over-priced.

The restaurant has an airy feeling, industrial look, a beautiful courtyard. The food is delicious, avocado toast has herbs that adds extra flavor to it, the crunchy toast is a nice contrast to the soft avocado. The zinc sunrise juice is a beautiful art. Definitely...More

Spent a fantastic morning exploring downtown LA (Broad Museum, Last Bookstore and Angels Flight). Finished off with lunch at Zinc cafe. Great vegetarian cafe, the vegetarian chilli bowl and cauliflower pizza were excellent (note it’s not a cauliflower base as per our incorrect assumption). Coffee...More

Went there during our 1st trip to LA. Our son lives in the area. Both breakfast and lunch were very good. Great outdoor seating on both sides. Would go again.

Breakfast opens at 8am at Zinc if you want to get out and about. Get a seat in the garden - it’s lovely and there’s always people with dogs, which is cute. There’s no meat on the menu but it’s incredibly varied so you won’t...More

Visited Zinc Cafe with my partner whilst walking around the Arts District. Iced latte was great and cookie super tasty. Really cool spot.

My first visit to L.A.'s Arts District was Monday evening and it felt like I'd been magically transported to an ultra-cool Manhattan neighborhood, the kind of place where my ultra-cook artist friends live and I love to visit. The area is fun for so many...More

If this is the Zinc we ate at ( hard to tell by description) it is a cafe that has one serious flaw. First the good news. The vegetarian menu is excellent. The food is innovative and very well done. Kudos to the chef. The...More
