This is a cute restaurant for dating since the outside patio dining (weather permitting) is relaxing as long as you don't mind sitting on a bench (no back support or comfy padded booths). The booths are inside. The service is good overall, friendly, attentive, and to the level of a $$-$$$ place. We must have read the other reviews and... More

That being said we opted for burgers and sandwiches. Had the fryer been working I would have tried the fish and chips. I had a club sandwich on rustic bread. This sandwich was wonderful. It had a chicken breast, avocado, lettuce and tomato on a delicious thick bread. Service was ok; waiter didn't ask if we wanted drinks, or offer... More

The Bowery looks nothing from the outside. It's a cosy atmosphere inside with a long full bar. Good portion size tasty food. Friendly service from our waiter.

The venue is great, simple yet chic, casual and comfortable. The atmosphere is great but I would switch off the television and put some nice New York Jazz Music in the evening. The food (my custom made burger) was to die for. And the service was excellent, friendly, courteous and engaging. If you are in this part of the city... More

I have been pleased with every dish on their menu as well as their alcohol selection. The servers are always nice, even if the service can be a bit slow at time. Whether you're getting a burger, sandwich or salad, you're in for something good. Highly recommend the chicken au jeu sandwich and spinach salad.

We stopped by for a late lunch and had a beer and a glass of wine with quite delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, which contained jalapenos - just the right amount of heat - and came with a cup of thick tomato soup to dip. Super-Yum!! We stopped by a different night for a cocktail and mine was delicious. Can't remember... More

Had lunch here on a workday - we both ordered the Bowery Burger. It's served on an English muffin with your choice of cheese (cheddar, goat cheese, etc) and you can order additional toppings (onion relish, bacon, caramelized onions, etc) for $1.00 more. Fries are an additional cost - approx $5. The burger was great - cooked perfectly to order.... More

We went straight here to me some relatives after arriving from the Burbank airport. We showed up with our luggage but the staff was kind enough to stash it for us. Great beer and wine list with a lot of new names for me. After dinner and drinks, the fun really started. Someone in my party wouldn't stop ordering shots... More

The Bowery is a perfect little place to grab a bite before or after a show at the Arclight. We tried it for the first time before we hit an early afternoon film. I wanted "real food" before I went to the theater so (1) my stomach wouldn't be rumbling during the film and (2) I wouldn't load up on... More

True to its NYC moniker, The Bowery was a sliver of a restaurant in the heart of Hollywood. Simple, flavorful food, and great atmosphere. This is a place you could hang out and have a few beers or a casual meal. Great destination for both.
