Set off of Sunset near Cinerama Dome, perfect for after the movies dining...or after a visit to Amoeba for Vinyl. Inside and patio dining. We chose outside as it is set back from Sunset and vine. Must have the raw Oysters for a start! Not into Raw? Fried Oysters then. Nice selection of items you don't make at home (That... More

Great place if you are oyster lover as my family and I. Went on Monday for special $1 oysters with matching cucumber Hendricks cocktail for $8.5. Just one word AMAZING!

we always eat at Hungry Cat while in Hollywood due to their fresh seafood, especially when they have Uni in stock. The wait staff is always friendly and we have always had a good lunch here!

Stopped in here shortly before 11 pm closing with other options limited. Was not excited with the menu choices but a very good glass of cabernet improved my attitude and the Peruvian style scallops were outstanding. No fancy atmosphere here, but the service was accomplished and the food was surprisingly good.

Pre-Theater dinner, and our waitress in training helped us be on time. We chose some fresh seafood so there would be no cooking time and that seafood platter was delicious. It was cold so I had to have dinner with my jacket.

I've been going to this restaurant for about 6 or 7 years and I absolutely love it. I'm always surprised that it's never super crowded and I can always get in without a reservation. My only hesitation is that it's on the pricey side but if you go on Monday and/or happy hour you can get some very reasonably priced... More

Pre-Theatre dinner - waiter and manager made a point to accommodate this time-pressure, which was a big plus. They need to improve their menu writing skills. When reading the menu items the first couple times, nothing jumps out that simply must be ordered. However, after many visits here, I have never been disappointed it the choices I have made. This... We had dinner twice at the Hungry Cat while visiting Los Angeles. I found them on Google & called to make a reservation. We loved the food, atmosphere & great service. Their lobster roll is super yummy! I'm so glad I found this restaurant. We'll be back there next time we are in LA!

One of the best restaurants in LA. Casual atmosphere, but some of the most inventive taste experiences ever applied to seafood. Standards like chorizo and clams are great - but try some new dishes with a menu that changes every night. Also famous for the raw bar - usually 3 or 4 kinds of fresh oysters - alsogreat squid and...
