Ghirardelli sundaes are my absolute favorites, but their ice cream shops are few and far between. I love their rich, luscious hot fudge, particularly over espresso ice cream. Delish! This location, in the heart of Hollywood, is especially fun. Take a break from the glitz and glam to indulge!

OK I am a self-proclaimed Disney addict, so I had to stop by here when we stayed in the area. I am not usually wowed by Ghirardelli, but we were lured to try the Dark Side sundae when Star Wars was in the theater. Yum! We were hooked. The store is a cute ice cream shop on Hollywood Blvd. You... More

Went here 5 years ago, but it has completely changed now as it has been taken over by ghiradelli, whereas previously you could eat proper meals in there. Had a lovely brownie sundae for lunch. Was expensive, but a treat

It's highly recommended when you're visiting hollywood california...it's a Disney studio store with all the characters there...you are welcomed with a free mini chocolate...then you can indulge yourself with a sweet treat like I did...I had mint chocolate chip and chocolate chip scoops...it was so delicious...you can buy chocolate too...I'll be back during my stay...

Your visit starts out with a free mini chocolate so it can't be bad, right? We shopped a little, then got ice cream. We got shakes and a sundae which were all to die for. My only complaint was that I measured out 1/2 pound of chocolate and was charged for a pound. I explained to the woman that the... More

Went here after movie at El Capitan. It was close to closing time, but servers were all friendly and happy to help us. Sundaes and ice cream sodas were very good.

This is a nice place to sit down for a cool beverage or ice cream while the kids look at a selection of Disney toys and you can still see the Chinese theater across the street. The atmosphere is nice, like an old time soda shop. The ice cream is delicious although a little more pricey, as you might expect... More

It's always fun to go here before or after a movie at the El Capitan nextdoor. The ice cream is exactly what they serve at the Ghirardelli in Disney's California Adventure which is amazing and huge, even splitting it with someone. Also they give you a free Ghirardelli chocolate square when you walk in.

$6 (after tax) for a scope of ice cream in a cone? A bit mug, no? That's with no toppings or anything. Imagine if we had asked for sprinkles?!? The ice cream itself was good and the cone was good but I can't tell you that it was worth $6.

We happened to be in the area and so we stopped in. Should be called Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Disney Studio Store. More chocolate here than Disney store stuff, not that chocolate is a bad thing. Just was expecting maybe a different assortment of Disney product.
