This is a place that many people do not even know exists. It is located in the San Fernando Valley near the Budweiser plant. It has great views of planes landing and taking off from Van Nuys airport and is has a good beer and wine list. Food is very good and the noise level is low except for some... More

Over the many years I have flown in and out of VNY I have went to the 94th. It is a nice place to watch airplanes while having a meal. However it is over priced and the staff is a little bit slow.

This restaurant is nestled in a grove of large trees next to the Van Nuys airport--which at first may not sound so appealing, but trust me, the location and setting are great. The building itself is styled as an old French chateau from the WWII era that has been "bombed" out--the inside restaurant is very quaint and there is a... More

Buffet Sunday brunches can be hit-or-miss. Sometimes there is a lot of food of questionable quality and sometimes there is great food but not a lot of choices. 94th Aero Squadron somehow manages to serve a huge selection of foods that are individually delicious. Traditional choices such as omelets, bacon, waffles, etc. Beef and ham carving stations. Mexican food. Italian... More

Just like Airtel we've had meetings and dining there for the last 4 years and this year was the worst.... smelly swordfish was falling apart (just imagine how old must be).... terrible service and nothing went 'right' this time... I guess Van Nuys must be on BIG decline!

We went for a birthday dinner party. Everything planned a head of time. Which is why I was surprised at how mediocre the food and service, and a few meals downright bad. My filet mignon was tasteless, the vegetables undercooked. My partner's salmon was dry, He requested no vegetables, was supposed to come with rice pilaf instead a scoop of... More

Lovely old-style restaurant and bar located next to Van Nuys airfield. Indoor and outdoor seating and nice large windows to look outside when it's cold. Wonderful friendly and attentive service. Menu has a choice of seafood and meat dishes, all prepared expertly by a very good chef. Great experience and much enjoyed by all.

I love that the quality of the holiday buffet is consistent. I always know what to expect. I come back each year for either the Thanksgiving or Christmas buffet. (In 2015, it was Christmas.) There's always a wide selection of made-to-order items going from entrees all the way to dessert! I can never miss the Bananas Foster.

The original 94th Aero Squadron was an American flying unit (yes, biplanes) commanded by Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker who earned the Medal of Honor for his Ace performance in World War I. He would be proud of how this restaurant, named after his unit that still exists today at the United States Air Force Academy, has lived up to the reputation... More
