I was encouraged to try the Chai Tea Latte at this cafe, and I must say it was one of the best tasting beverages I've ever had. Up until then I've never had a Chai Tea Latte but at this place they're incredible.

My wife and I used to go to the Mustard Seed regularly when we lived in Silver Lake up until 2012. We enjoyed the service, and the food was first rate. Last weekend we had business in the neighborhood, and decided to have brunch there. It was at best, a mixed bag. My wife had the soup/salad lunch with Mustard... More

Lots of delicious dishes to choose from! Because of self imposed diet restrictions I'm usually limited to a choice between two or three items...not so here. There were well over 2 dozen items that appealed to me! Great food...don't miss.

My daughter has taken me to Mustard Seed on every visit to the Silver Lake area and have enjoyed both breakfast and lunches. We shared a couple of salads on this late morning visit and they were excellent.

This resturant serves decent breakfest. Small space somewhat dated as to tables not even on floor and crowded for 4 people. Could use a fix up without losing old style feeling. Would return if my favorites were to crowded.

I went to this cafe for breakfast and the food was terrible. The waiter recommended an egg dish with basil and tomatoes. We were one of two tables filled at this point. Our food came out completely cold, and totally unappetizing. It came with 3 broccoli florets which were also cold. The potatoes had no taste. I don't know what... More

This is the second time I've gone to The Mustard Seed Café and it's on its way to becoming my favorite Silver lake restaurant. This time I ordered the Vegetarian Melt with goat cheese and it was delicious. I've had a lot of vegetable sandwiches. This one was not only stuffed full of an interesting variety of veggies but it... More

Stumbled across this cafe after a hike up Griffiths park. Excellent food - organic coffee, good portions and fast friendly service. Food reasonably priced. Will definitely return now we know where it is!

I love going here. The steak salad is one of my favorite lunches in L.A. The food in general is terrific. Eating outdoors is great on a nice day. The environment doesn't offer much, but the food is superior to the nearby overpriced Alcove. If you're looking for lunch or breakfast in the Los Feliz area, look no further.
