Love going to this place when I want to great almondmilk mocha or vegan cookie and I sit in the hobbit hole all the way in the back. Make sure you check that out! Although the atmosphere is really cool in this café, somethings to be noted are the staff cannot be as friendly as they should be and it's... More

Across for the Scientology Celebrity Center "Castle" in Hollywood. Its not about the food or drinks here its all about atmosphere and if you're a screen writer you will find other writers banging away on their over sized $7,000 Apple or Alienware laptops. the first time I went there I met the guy from Baton Rouge who wrote the 13th... The relaxed atmosphere made this an ideal stop to recharge. The coffee is strong and the light sandwiches are tasty. It is also nice that there are four electric outlets at each of the four seat tables in the front.

I always go here, bring people over to experience the little in between 'juwels', los angeles has so many of. The place is hot and famous now but it still vibrates a sort of groove that brings you back in India, but with a pooltable, little darkish, with second-hand kind of furniture. The staff is helpfull but a little snobby.... More

The best spot I've found so far to chill & get away from the heavily congested tourist spots. Wifi available to connect back with family abroad is a nice bonus! Only had their coffee which is very decent.

What a unique coffee shop- have never seen one like it! Chandeliers, covered walls, plenty of places to talk and work, great coffee and service, a "hippie" kind of place that is worth a visit!

This little cafe, which only the locals know about, was just what I needed when the thermometer reached 105°F/40°C for the second day in a row. My friend, a native, knew just where to take me. A long, tall, Earl Grey ice tea with a dash of real lemonade and lots of crackling ice hit the spot big time...the fabulous... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
