Having been going to this restaurant for over 20 years, the menu has not changed, a good thing. However, the portions are getting smaller while the price has nearly tripled. Inflation, I guess. Too bad it is cash only. I don't eat here as often.

A return visit for another great lunch. It’s almost like the movie “Groundhog Day” because I always seem to order the same thing - Hiyashi Ramen. And, once again, it was delicious. I also noticed the owner having lunch at his own restaurant, which is...More

I was here with friends for their daughters 13th bday. The broth was amazing and the ingredients all fresh and delicious. I especially enjoyed the fried rice in addition to the spicy pork ramen. It was light and tasty. The asparagus and mushroom appetizer was...More

Being a first-generation Japanese-immigrant, I know my Japanese food. This discrete eatery in the heart of the Valley (in a very discrete strip shopping center) is a great spot for ramen and ramen-related dishes. The décor is typical ramen-house- very simple and stark. The menu...More

My husband grew up in Hawaii & gets cravings for 'saimin' as they call it in the islands. He gives a thumbs up to the ramen here. Shoyu Chasu ramen for him, Miso Chasu ramen for me along with a side of gyoza & edamame....More

We were referred to Ramen Nippon in Reseda (L.A.) by a sushi chef friend who knows what he's talking about. We were not disappointed. We each built a complete ramen from the same starting point by adding ingredients. The results were steaming hot bowls of...More

This is a picture of their cold noodle plate (#20 on the menu). It has always been my favorite lunch. I've several other dishes and all of them are delicious and very reasonably priced. It's in a small L-shaped strip mall across from Arby's on...More

Amazing food! Great, fast friendly service. The only reason it's not 5 stars is its cash only. I had to walk down to the 7/11 for an arm. The spicy miso ramen is amazing.

I have been coming here since 2001 and never get tired of ordering the Nippon Ramen: miso soup, slices of tender pork, spinach and abundant trimmed scallions. With generous additions of the sesame sauce and tart vinegar, it's a delicious meal, in warm or cold...More
