We were here for over 45 mins waiting for our food after we ordered, when the server eventually acknowledged we hadn’t received our order it turned out it had just been sitting there. My meal was also incorrect so there was a further wait for...food. It’s a shame as we are staying locally and would have come back had it not been for this bad experience. The server was well intentioned but also not coping with service as she made multiple mistakes on people’s orders. The food was also overpricedMore

Locali has been a staple for 4 years - always great service and the badass breakfast sandwich and Cadillac sandwich are amazing! One team member in particular goes above and beyond, his name is Michael and he now works at the West Hollywood location. The...great service is why I keep coming back.More

I live just down the street from Locali, and am thankful to live near a café where they meet my dietary needs with courtesy and delicious food. As a vegan with celiac disease, I really appreciate restaurants where they are able to do that! If...you have an allergy order, all you have to do is tell them what it is and how serious it is, and they’re on it without treating you like you’re inconveniencing them. This is actually fairly rare in this city, where many people eat gluten free as a trendy diet and many restaurants offer gluten food for those diners. Locali is a gem and deserves props for their consideration of people with celiac disease, wheat allergy, and other forms of gluten intolerance. Although the sandwiches aren’t safe for me because the bread is prepared in a shared toaster, I love their salads and quinoa bowls. The Big Daddy is amazing and packs a spicy punch from its buffalo “chicken,” complemented by celery and black beans. If you love olives as much as I do, the Odyssey bowl has olive tapenade and delicious cool dill dressing atop its greens and quinoa. My absolute favorite is the Love Bite salad with the vegan gf buffalo “chicken” added. For other celiac diners, I would advise you to watch out for the beans - beans are often cross contaminated in in the factory or even in the field. Sadly, despite the helpful staff, who makes your order with extreme caution and vegetables and toppings from separate containers used only for allergy orders if you specify your intolerance or allergies, the beans still are not the safest bet for gluten intolerance or wheat allergies. The Beyond Meat chicken is a great choice for celiac vegans - the buffalo “chicken” is deliciously marinated and nutritious! The smoothies here are also off the hook - I highly recommend the Dirty Shamrock, especially if you sub in coconut fro-yo for the coconut yogurt. It’s cool and refreshing from the mint, has a nice deep cacao flavor, and is great on these hot LA summer days. There’s a huge amount of choices for dessert here, but it’s very important to try the amazing vegan chocolate whoopie pies from all-gluten free bakery Rising Hearts. Rich, creamy, and indulgent, these whoopie pies are large enough to share... but I won’t tell anyone if you eat the whole thing. ;) If you find yourself in Franklin Village and want to eat something healthy but flavorful and creamy, including breakfast all day, I recommend trying Locali. That recommendation goes double for other vegans and people with celiac disease, food allergies, or food intolerances.More

Went here and ordered the cream cheese bagel and a matcha latte and espresso. The espresso wasn’t an espresso but a short filter coffee. The matcha latte was huge!! Far too big for me To finish but it tasted ok. The cream cheese bagel was...pretty average, small amount of cream cheese and lots of veg. The other items on the menu looked good so maybe there are better options To pick. Friendly staff and nice sofas to sit in.More

I've been searching for a great vegan Reuben ever since Native Foods shut down in Culver City. We actually visited the store in Venice and the Reuben was great! They have a good variety of vegan, vegetarian and carnivore choices so everyone will be happy....Salad was fresh and the dressing was light a creamy. A little pricey for a sandwich....$14.00.....but it was worth it. DELICIOUSMore

Wow! Breakfast will never be the same again once you've tried The Baaadasss Breakfast Sandwich... A vegan sausage patty with vegan cheese, maple syrup sandwiched between an English muffin, the Baaadasss is a breakfast bun on steroids! With spicy chipotle sauce and melted cheese, this...muffin is so moorish, so addictive, you'll keep coming back for more. Add in the BEST vegan Rueben for lunch and you are pretty much all set for the day!More

LOVE this place! Super friendly staff. Great place to try if you're vegan or vegetarian. For breakfast you definitely need to order the "Brekkie" breakfast burrito. Scrambled tofu, black beans and more in a sprouted whole wheat tortilla. Amazing! It comes with salsa and a...chipotle cream sauce. Just to give you an idea of how much we love this . . . We live in the Phoenix area and keep our boat in Marina Del Rey. We come back twice a month and can't wait to visit Locali for our favorite breakfast. You must try this place! Lots of other options, but we're currently obsessed by the burrito. Will try one of the quinoa bowls and provide feedback soon.More

The portions are small, but the food is delicious. This is a great place for a meal on the go. I've dined at their location once, for a quick lunch, and the atmosphere isn't anything special. I've ordered their food "to go" and also for...delivery, and while I feel the prices are a little too high, it's a nice choice when you're trying to eat healthy. The tuna salad is lovely and the Franklin sandwich is my fav.More

We decided to have a late breakfast, and my son recommended Locali. I had eaten here before but that was a few years ago. Apparently there are 3 in the LA area, We went to the one on Franklin Ave. It was a beautiful day...so we decided to eat outside. They have about 3 small tables outside so space is limited. They also have tables inside as well. It is a tight little spot, but jam packed with all sorts of interesting things to eat and to drink. I started with the REBBL superherb tonic. It was so cold and very tasty! I had heard that their breakfast sandwich was really good. We all got the Baaadasss Breakfast Sandwich. Everything is veggie or vegan, but I thought the taste was outstanding and it really filled me up. I loved the bread too. For desert I had one of the healthy bars at the checkout. When I left I was really full. My son had the KO Kale Salad, and he's a bit of an expert and he thought it was really outstanding! So lot's of great things to eat and lots of great things to take with you for later! The service was very good and very friendly. They served our sandwiches on old car license plates! I got Alaska, but Maine, Alabama, and Iowa were all represented. Very clever idea and a good conversation starter. Next time I'm ready for a great breakfast sandwich, I'll make sure to stop in at Locali.More
