If you have no memories of the original Clifton's Cafeteria, you probably won't be disappointed, but for those who remember, you will be shocked at the high prices for what is basically cafeteria food - and not any better than the original cafeteria food. The...More

Clifton’s is not just a bar, it is an experience! (It is usually a restaurant, too, but the kitchen is in a remodel, so we couldn’t get food.) Each floor has a different theme. It is a little reminiscent of the rainforest cafe with a...More

Right now, I’m enjoying a local craft brew with a grizzly bear while sitting on a chair fit for a king, in dim lighting that is certain to make me look even better than my usual sassy self. And this is just one of the...More

Cliftons is a unique place. I went for about 2 hours for some cocktails and some food. It is multi leveled. Each level has different bars that serve different drinks. What you get at one bar another probably cant make it for you. You are...More

I will start by saying Clifton's venue is absolutely wonderful and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful-we celebrated a good friend's birthday with bottle service on Saturday, February 9th. Unfortunately, I can only give Clifton's 2 Stars because the DJ hired for the evening,...More

We showed up just minutes before 6:00 pm last Saturday night, Jan. 5th not knowing the situation. They opened at 6:00pm sharp and said the cafe was closed but the bar was open and they were only serving bar food. Not wanting that, we left....More

Hidden spot worth the visit. Multiple levels with different bar themes in each. Lot of stuff to look at and walk around and large enough for the crowds. Top floor tiki bar fun, good friendly staff but draft beer hit and miss. Mid floor cold...More

Clifton's has been around for many many years. They use to have many different locations in the old days (Century City, etc) and now only have the one location in downtown Los Angeles, They service excellent food and service is very good too. Plenty of...More

We were up on the top floor and had a great time. The tiki décor was impressive and made it a fun night. But the best part was the hospitality we received from Michelle, and her stories of the bar’s history. Thanks for giving us...More

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering
buildings, bustling streets, and industrial
warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of
cultures here with a growing influx of business
professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of
Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts,
bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants

Hi, Visually it is a great place on 3 or 4 floors in total. From what I recall, you would be able to walk around on the first two, as well as, eat on the first floor. There were families on both when I was there.
