If you like Ethiopian food or you just want to try something different this is the place . I had the vegetarian combination plate and everything was excellent especially the collard greens, The beef and lamb combinations were great too. Eat on the patio if you can to watch the street scene. Well worth visiting.

I have been here every year for the past 5 years, taking students on a cultural field trip. We are pleased with the food and pleased with the service. Sherwa is an excellent hostess.

Had the vegetarian combo plate - it was very filling and delicious and would definitely recommend it to anyone (not just vegetarians!) The atmosphere of the restaurant was good and the decor was very interesting and unique. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Very good place, would recommend to anyone in the area wanting to try something new for sure.

I've been eating for many years hear. Favor the chicken. Honey wine is relaXing too! Some meats are a little rough for me, but I'm glad it's in existence in Los Angeles and not far from the airport.

First off, I must say that Ethiopian is one of the most underrated ethnic cuisines in the world - and Rosalind's gets it just right. The staple injera - savory fermented wheat pancakes, used in place of silverware to scoop the stewed or fried main courses - were light, spongy and delicious. The lamb jibs were astounding, as was the... More

The place has good ambiance. I had no idea about Ethiopian cuisine before. As a starter we had plantain fry. Then we had a combination dish which consisted of chicken curry, beef, mutton, potato and egg curry served along with injera (traditional Ethiopian bread). A single combination plate is enough to feed 3 to 4 persons. The food is spicy and... More

First time to have Ethiopian food. I have to be honest and say that it takes some getting used to. The staff was very friendly and provided an overview of Ethiopian cuisine since I was a first timer. Food was ok and I don't think I'll be craving for it. Still, it was a good culinary experience!

We had no idea what ethiopian food was but wanted to experience something new. We arrived right when they opened and were one of the the only people eating that early. It was delicious, so much fun to taste all the different flavors and everything we put in our mouth was really good. Our server was remarkably patient with us.... More
