We were visiting the La Brea Tarpits and noticed we were close to Little Ethiopia. We found what was the best rated of the 7 or so places here on TripAdvisor and were excited for some good food. Bad sign #1: lipstick on the water glass. Bad sign #2: no meat combo options! We thought that was Ethiopian restaurant law!... More

I am an Ethiopian food junkie and I gotta say food at this restaurant is really quite flavorful. We ordered a vegetarian platter, and it came with a complimentary salad and a whole extra plate of injera. Quantities are decent. Some may find the food a bit sweet, perhaps they need to cut down on the sweetness. Highly recommended! We... More

First of all, if you have never eaten at an Ethiopian restaurant and like to try new things, I recommend this place. We've been in Ethiopian places in other cities and this one is similar, which is to say, very enjoyable. The food is served with some kind of flat bread that you wrap the food in, sort of like... Wanted lunch in Little Ethiopia, and found many of the options were closed. Rosalind's was open & empty, and seemed like a good choice. As I was the only person in the restaurant, service was terrific. Injera bread was bountiful, my beef dish was deliciously prepared, and it was a great experience. Highly recommend.

If you like Ethiopian food or you just want to try something different this is the place . I had the vegetarian combination plate and everything was excellent especially the collard greens, The beef and lamb combinations were great too. Eat on the patio if you can to watch the street scene. Well worth visiting.

I have been here every year for the past 5 years, taking students on a cultural field trip. We are pleased with the food and pleased with the service. Sherwa is an excellent hostess.

Had the vegetarian combo plate - it was very filling and delicious and would definitely recommend it to anyone (not just vegetarians!) The atmosphere of the restaurant was good and the decor was very interesting and unique. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Very good place, would recommend to anyone in the area wanting to try something new for sure.

I've been eating for many years hear. Favor the chicken. Honey wine is relaXing too! Some meats are a little rough for me, but I'm glad it's in existence in Los Angeles and not far from the airport.

First off, I must say that Ethiopian is one of the most underrated ethnic cuisines in the world - and Rosalind's gets it just right. The staple injera - savory fermented wheat pancakes, used in place of silverware to scoop the stewed or fried main courses - were light, spongy and delicious. The lamb jibs were astounding, as was the... More

The place has good ambiance. I had no idea about Ethiopian cuisine before. As a starter we had plantain fry. Then we had a combination dish which consisted of chicken curry, beef, mutton, potato and egg curry served along with injera (traditional Ethiopian bread). A single combination plate is enough to feed 3 to 4 persons. The food is spicy and... More
