We visited the robin hood on September 24th for a meal and a few drinks. We were greated by a pleasant young man who secured us a table. Sadly he wasn't to be our waiter. Another waiter arrived and asked if we would like drinks. Now I wanted to check out the choice ov beers at the bar but he... More

I heard of this place many years ago, but only recently had the honor to visit after watching too many British TV shows and the British pub food craving became unmanageable. Tried Fish and Chips, Scotch Egg (for the first time), Zucchini fries, Steak and mushroom pie. It hit the spot and didn't have any room left for desert. On... More

We've been visiting Robin Hood for years. My husband was born in England and we frequent it with his Mom, stepdad and sister when they long for home. Can't beat the fish and chips or bangers and mash. Sunday tea is great as well. And be sure to wash it down with a pint. If you want to take some... More

THERE IS A LITTLE BIT OF ENGLAND IN VAN NUYS I really enjoyed the late night dinner at a great price. It is just like the pubs you would find in London but with ice cold beer. I had the steak sandwich was good, it is more like pub food with a little extra. The beer was great too as... More

Robin Hood has been voted best British fare in California. Rightfully so. I have been going there for decades and never disappointed. Cornish pastie is awesome. Even better than I had in London, Fish and chips, the best. They also have a variety of sandwiches, salads, fish. But "why would you?" and super deals for happy hour. Super friendly staff... More

Okay I admit it, I'm addicted to their grilled cheese sandwich, fries and veggie gravy for dipping. This neighborhood pub with the always on TV (the patrons often contributing their own cheers and disapproval at the games) has a creative and impressive selection of vegetarian dishes (ever changing) as well as delicious English fare: the teapots are put on your... You never know what you'll come across cruising the streets of the valley. In this case it was the Robin hood pub. A dark patinad friendly place with what they say is the best fish and chips in the country. My date had them Audi sampled them. " best in the world(?) I'll let you be the judge. I will... More

A good place to get food drink and service after a game of cricket at Woodley. Just excellent and a great must instead of the Springbok bar where the service is dire.

Robin Hood British Pub is the place to go for Guinness and comfort food. I've eaten here many times over the years, but most recently for the first time with my British boyfriend. We went on a rainy Saturday afternoon, this place is perfect on cold days, as it feels so cozy and serves hearty meals. I had the steak... More
