The restaurant is absolutely lovely, the servers seem happy and good at the jobs. The twins are funny and the meat balls are amazing even my nonna approved of them. I can't wait to visit again.

The resteraunt has amazing food and the twins who run the place are hilarious and have great personalities, the kitchen nightmares episode was emotional and inspiring and I’m so glad to see how amazing they’re doing and how far they’ve come and im completely gutted...(sad) that they’re selling the place, but it was so they could look after their mum and dad so it a wholesome reason so for one last time, what do we have? HOMEMADE MEATBALLS!!More

Well, I have two reviews. To begin, may I say that we had a wonderful time on Valentine's Day. We wanted to go somewhere unusual for a date, we had seen season 3 episode 8 of Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsey, and so we had...to check this place out. The twin owners were great, the price of the evening started at $50, and it included a bottle of wine, a pizza, a pasta dish, a dessert, and an appetizer. What a deal! What a fun venue, and what a memorable moment for us, as we felt like we were not strangers there. This evening was great, but was it all our rose colored glasses that made it so, or was it a great restaurant experience? Well, a little of both. We liked the garlic twists, but they could have been more garlicky and buttery. We didn't hate the pizza (it was heart-shaped for crying out loud!). But it was without much cheese and looked more like an arugula salad atop a thin crust with citrus something squeezed atop. It didn't taste bad, just didn't knock it out of the park. Still.... In any event, the spaghetti and meatballs came along, but they must not know you have to cook pasta in seawater, since it was rather bland; nice and noodly, just not flavorful. And the meatballs, after all the hoopla on the tv show, we expected to be stellar. They were not. They were dense, not awful, but they might have gone back to the frozen ones they used to use. I dunno. The actual salad (Ceasar, I think) was not terrible, just not delicious. We liked having some veg, but it needed some more vinegar or seasoning, or something. It was like a lightly dressed lettuce, not much different than the pizza topping. They supplied us with a whole bottle of wine, and it wasn't bad for a table wine when eating Italian grub. Heck, if you went to a snazzy joint, the wine could cost as much as this whole two-person meal. We were finally served a Tiramisu to go, which the wife thought a bit soggy, but which I thought still nailed the flavor expectation. So here's the deal, the food needs more seasoning, and if it got that, it would be just about perfect. The venue is nicely neighborhood, and the value is off the charts. The twins were gracious and pleasant, and the fame of the place made the whole thing a very happy experience. I hope they read this, and that they understand that we want them to be great. They need to kick the flavor profiles up a notch, but they are most friendly, most generous, and I can't say much if anything unhappy besides the few bits I've already shared. I suggest you see the tv episode, then go pay them a visit. At least once! Hopefully more....More

We visited this place earlier whilst on holiday in LA. The owners are great guys and very welcoming. They sat and chatted to us throughout our visit but were not intrusive. The food was tasty, plentiful and a good price. I’d recommend this place if...you’re in town. Smiles all round!!More

These guys are not informed of the fact that people DO have meat allergies (there's even a tick causing people to be allergic to meat and unable to consume it). That being said, I ordered an eggplant parmigiana sandwich - they gave me chicken and...then yelled at me, claiming I ordered it. Being that I am ALLERGIC I know for a fact I did NOT order chicken (I hadn't been able to eat it for years). They were rude, unruly, disrespectful and forced my boyfriend to pay for the soda when we decided to get up and leave because they wouldn't rectify the problem and give me an eggplant parmigiana. Gum under the tables, dirt everywhere - this place was a complete nightmare. I'm sure their kitchen was no cleaner. Also - they shouldn't yell at paying customers when THEY mess up. It's trashy and wrong on their part.More

We stopped here for lunch and were surprised to be the only couple there around noon on a Thursday. After being there a while, we realized that many of the orders coming in were take-out orders. The place is small and rustic looking. The Capri...Specialty Salad was delicious! Also had a pizza with pepperoni and sausage and were happy with our choice. The pizza is delicious on a thin crust with plenty of cheese. We topped this with a 1/2 carafe of chianti wine. We will probably eat here again or order take out since it is not far from our house.More

We are from England and having seen the Ramseys Kitchen Nightmares episode a few weeks prior to our holiday, as we were staying in LA for a few days we really had to come and see and taste for ourselves as meet Jim and Jeff...the wonderful hosts and owners of the restaurant. Our visit was lunchtime on Sunday 21st August 2016 and the place was virtually empty when we arrived (just past mid-day). Both Jim and Jeff were extremely welcoming and whilst the décor of the restaurant was not that of a high class place in LA, the food was most definitely up to par with any top end Italian. We had pizza and lasagna between the four of us and could not fault any of it, it was fantastic. The place filled up with diners within 30 minutes, a football team arrived along with a large family of 12 who booked the table within minutes and the place was buzzing, but Jim and Jeff still found time to chat with us and pose for a few photographs before we left around 90 mins or so after we arrived. One of the highlights of our holiday, and will definitely make a return visit if we are ever in the area again. Thoroughly recommended :-)More
