I don't generally rave about places, but I have to admit that the food here was incredible! The halibut was very well prepared and tasted great, done to perfection. The soup was also very good and as it was a bit on the coolish side outside, it was a nice compliment to the main course. The wait staff was very... More

Had an amazing lunch with highly pleasant staff. We shared an onion soup and they divided it into two parts without us even asking. Main course fresh and well prepared and wine great!

The lamb shank was superb, as were the calamari and prawn appetizers. And the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this delightful restaurant!

Had a delightful lunch ensuring the I Paso dining. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable and the food is exemplary. Try the grilled salmon salad or halibut entree. The chef makes a crispy skin a major addition uti the meal. Reasonably priced wine list and peaceful views of the courtyard.

This restaurant is located near the LA Library. It has a really nice patio in a small park. I had the filet mignon and it was tender. I thought it was a little rare but still really tasty. The au jus sauce was a nice compliment with the mash potatoes. The chicken was also really good too. Overall, a nice... More

You walk right by not realizing what a special place this is. Situated right outside the city library the patio overlooks gardens. The wait staff was attentive and efficient. The food was delicious. The salad fresh and flavorful and the french onion soup excellent. I dined alone and at no point was I ignored. Great for a pre theater dinner.

My husband and I decided to go for the appetizers and they were wonderful. We started with fresh oysters -- fabulous. We had grilled octopus that had a wonderful and tasty sauce with a touch of zing. The salad was fresh and delightful. The sorbets for dessert were refreshing and yummy. We will definitely return.

While attending a conference downtown my friend and I visited not once, but twice, it was that good. Fabulous service, excellent food in a historic setting in a city park in front of the LA City Library. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Had a lovely evening dining with friends outside on the Patio of The Cafe Pinot restaurant next to the Old L.A. library. The waiter was a delight - (an aspiring actor with a terrific Shakespearian voice). We all ordered something different, and all praised our selections. I had the duck confit - perfectly cooked - quite moist with a crispy... More

Cafe Pinot was the setting for a private business dinner of about 50 people that I recently attended. It is located in downtown LA and has seating indoors and out. Our dinner was on the patio out back and the service was excellent. The food itself was average, however we had limited options due to a fixed menu, so I... More
