You'd never know it by looking by the outside of the restaurant but this place is very popular and the food was REALLY good. It was part of our package for the Rose Parade Tour. Man, they kept bringing food and bringing food. It was all very good and hot from being freshly cooked. Everything was so tasty. 5 stars

We've been eating here for 25 years. Always the spicy won ton soup, slippery shrimp and green beans in pork sauce. If we have children or others who don't want spicy, then we get an order of lemon chicken. Consistent quality; prompt service. Busy at times, so make a reservation if in doubt. If William is there, I enjoy a... More

Having had a meal at a neighboring restaurant the night before we thought we would give Yang Chow a shot. Upon arrival having walked from our nearby hotel, we found an extremely long line out the door waiting to get in. Being a nice evening we decided to wait which turned out to be approximately 45 minutes. Unlike the night... More

This is a Chinatown icon with pictures of celebrities who have visited an all. Unlike the restaurants in Chinatown New York City, this one is more organized and very popular. The waiters are courteous and efficient. The juicy dumplings are dryish but have a good taste.

Spent the afternoon in Chinatown and decided to give Yang Chow a try. The service was fast and the food was very good. Visited the restroom and it was very clean. Had the shrimp with lobster sauce lunch special which is served with fried rice, egg drop soup and 2 wontons. Also had the Szechuan chicken with steamed rice, the... More

A local friend took us to this restaurant. As others have noted, the slippery shrimp is one of the most delicious things I have had at a Chinese restaurant! The Yang Chow lamb was also fabulous. And the three flavor sizzling rice soup delicious. Our waiter was a bit surely but the other service staff were excellent and the manager... More

You never know who you will meet while eating at Yang Chow. The walls are covered with photos of sport movie and political celebrities! I wandered into this china town spot on a Sunday late afternoon. It was already busy but gets packed at dinner! I sampled the shrimp in lobster sauce as well as curry chicken dishes which were... Our friend who is local recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. They're slippery shrimp was amazing and there are hot tea was just what I needed today. Established in 1977 they've been a local favorite for many celebrities and government workers in the area. We will definitely be back.

I love Chinese food and haven't had it for a long time. This restaurant has me wanting more. The soups and dinners are all wonderful. This restaurant is in Korea town and a good place to have something to eat after walking and shopping. A fun place with great food.
