Had not been here for many years. We dined after theatre and requested a garden table. All was lovely and merits a return visit: the ambiance, food, service and even the weather cooperated! Opened our 3 bottles of wine (2 half. btls, 1 full size = 2 full size bottle limit) and paid reasonable corkage. The food was surprisingly tasty--savory... More

We where looking for a place to eat, that did not serve fast food and found this! We ordered each a main course with meat, and got a large portion. The food was good! The meat was tender, the green beans got a nice crisp and the mashed potatoes was good! I would go back here.

The food and service were great. We're so glad we discovered this gem of a restaurant while on vacation. It's a small and cute little hideaway in the midst of Hollywood. If you want a break from the Hollywood Blvd scene, this is the place to go.

Had not been to Off Vine in a year, and now cannot wait to come back. Sunday brunch on the patio, with beautiful vines sprouting vibrant flowers, in the background was the perfect brunch setting. Food selections were plentiful and very tasty. Bobby ,our waiter, went out of his way to accommodate all our requests. And valet parking personnel were... More

Polite and helpful service! Nice and warm atmosphere. Food was well prepared! I would have preferred more side options, but this is personal opinion.

John was the manager and we informed him my son n laws food was cold, mashed potatoes. He didnt think it was a big deal. They charge a lot 20.00 corkage fee. Menu is pretty much a set meal. The choice was mashed potatoes or green beans to have with steak, duck and ribs. Food is expensive for what you get,... More

Sunday Brunch, no reservation...my bad! But they squeezed us in (made an extra table!) made us feel so welcome, and served delicious food promptly. This place is consistently wonderful, the food is delicious, the staff is so generous, and the place is like a little enchanted garden. So fun, so good!

I came with a friend for a "before the show" dinner at Off Vine. I made the reservation earlier in the day and was delighted that our table was ready and waiting. The restaurant is absolutely charming and was filled with the warm buzz of happy diners. I ordered the Pecan Crusted Chicken and it was served with very creamy... More

This restaurant has great food and if you don't know where it is, you won't see it by driving up and down the Sunset Strip. This is the second time we have eaten here. We would eat here more often but we don't live in Los Angeles. Both times we ate at Off Vine we were there to see a... More

A friend has been raving about this restaurant for some time, and yesterday we met there for lunch. Why have I never gone before? The menu is luxurious, the only difficulty was choosing. And when I did, but told the waiter - who was as delicious and agreeable as the food- to leave off one ingredient, he wisely suggested having... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
