Great sandwiches, robust and tasty. You will never be disappointed. I used a Groupon so I got a great price along with great food. A icon in LA so check out this deli and savor the taste for a lifetime.

Had lunch with local friends here and felt like being in NYC. Good but not overwhelming menu with all the classics, matzo ball soup, pastrami, corned beef, rye bread, brisket and pickles. A little pricey but totally authentic!

Love this place! My daughter and I went late at night, this past Sunday, to have a quick bite to eat and visit with each other. We decided to have an appetizer and share a dinner plate. First of all, I have to say, our waiter was amazing! He was one step ahead of us(we didn't have to ask for... More

This is a famous restaurant serving Jewish food, including pastrami and corn beef sandwiches, matzo ball soup, pickled herring, kosher dill pickles, and so on. They’re open 24 hours a day, and it seems to me that they are always busy. In addition to the restaurant, there’s a deli counter selling many of the items available on the menu, and... More

I made the trek to Fairfax via the famous sunset strip to get to Canter's deli........I'd been to langer's some years ago and enjoyed it. canter's has a bit of Hollywood history to it. It's in a somewhat 'rough part of town' in my estimation I would think twice about going there late night. I ordered a pastrami on rye... More

I guess it gets a "D" for disappointing. Greeting was good, wait staff average. Food was very expensive ($16.00 for pastrami Ruben) for average quality. I have had much better at 1/2 the price. The coleslaw was 1950s watered down mayo, cabbage and sugar. Cashier was rude, condescending and just unhappy, spoiled the whole meal. Could have been an off... More

Canter's was not far from our hotel and while we were on the bus tour, it was noted that is was a historic hot spot and to not miss trying it out. The restaurant appears like it did back in the day when it began with a bakery on the left side when you enter. It is one big room... More

I have been eating Reubens here since the 1960s. Always leave happy and full. Pickles are genuine! Bakery is devine! Halvah cannot be beat. Chopped liver sammiches, people! Try it!
