This is a funky, trendy restaurant that was recommended to us by a tour guide. We were there on a weekday morning so we did not have to wait for a table. There is plenty of parking in the lot behind the restaurant. The wait staff was very attentive and provided good recommendations. The menu is huge, so it took... More

Didn't meet my expectations after reading trip advisor reviews. Pancakes were good and so was the French toast. Best thing we had was the "some like it hot" scramble with chips...egg nachos. I probably would choose another restaurant when you factor in the 45 minute wait.

Arrived right at 8 and seated immediately. Waitress was helpful and friendly. We got peanut butter and banana pancakes which were HUGE and DELICIOUS! These were the best pancakes I've ever had. It tasted like cake, a perfect balance of sweet and salty. My only regret is not being able to eat more of them. They were served warm and... More

Great food! HUGE pancakes! The place is very small and congested. I feel they have outgrown this place. Also, the tables are too clustered with condiments. However, if you are in town it is worth trying.

My boyfriend and I went to LA in October for some sightseeing and to do some typical tourist things, but this restaurant was by far, the best thing we did in our 2-day stint in LA. We ended up coming here twice. AND, we took pancakes to go to eat for breakfast the next morning in our car. (They really... More

Cool vibe, old sounds and massive portions. Get there early or stand in line. Pancakes are mountainous and the ham steak is half a pig.

You will wait in a line no matter what time of day you go but it's worth every minute. The menu is so extensive there is something for everyone. Food is fresh, served with a smile and seating at the horseshoe shaped bar is lots of fun so don't pass up that opportunity. Families are very welcome.

Thank Cynthia C

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
