The ambiance is lovely, but the food was mediocre to bad, greasy and overpriced. The wedge salad is a joke. It has a sweet dressing and truly lousy. The braised short ribs were terrible. 3 people at the table had them and everyone left them....My fish was ok/ but they refused to takeoff the head or remove the bones. This is a hidden gem on the Westside of Los Angeles. The food and service are excellent, and the Happy Hour is great (from 4 PM to 6PM Monday through Friday). The are closed on most Sundays, but check their website. There is Valet parking,...but street parking nearby is available. We had a large get together with most of us ordering different dishes. The wait staff knows one of our dinners, as a regular, and treated us to a very attentive service. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the laid back atmosphere had us closing down...the joint. One suggestion, split a plate as there is no kids menu, for the youngsters. Yes the Wi-fi worked for the kids ipads. Good atmosphere for a date night !More

Dinner was very good piping hot had short rib with scalloped potatoes and grilled salmon. Service very helpful and attentive Will come back for burgers next time served in bar area and lunch.

This place was a surprise. It's a traditional restaurant with tables spaced fairly far apart. The result is a quiet ambiance that is rare to find these days. The menu has about 20 items and, of them, the four we had were all outstanding, and...very eclectic, ranging from scallops and lentils ( a daily special) to lobster pasta, to enchiladas. So, while the ambiance may be traditional, the menu defies classification. Given the quality of the food, I consider the prices to be very reasonable. The service was gracious and, while prompt, not at all rushed. I was there with my elderly mother, and she greatly enjoyed what seemed like time travel back to a more sedate time.More

My husband and I ate at the Bel-Air again last night. (We go there 6-8 times a year.) We ate at a table in the bar area and both had excellent food. I loved the buratta and grilled apricot salad with fennel and almonds. My...husband had the fish enchiladas which he also said were excellent. The food is mid-range in price and it has a full bar.More

Cant ignore the creative choices for vegans. Loved the enchilades. Interesting art. Strange location (tight up against a gas station) and plastic straws are drawbacks. But the vegan/vegetarian tasty choices rocked.
