We shared on El Verde burrito. It was a generous portion, accompanied by rice, and was more than enough for two persons. We also found it very tasty. there are quite a few tables in the outdoor patio but otherwise indoors is closed due to...the current restrictions. The staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was good. They have valet parking but you can find plenty of free parking on the nearby streets. all in all, a good dining experience we we would return.More

I was at la cabana with my family (my wife and my son), we ordered 2 simple dishes and 1 appetizer with 2 beers and 1 juice. The food was average for Mexican food in Los Angeles, our bill was $95!!! plus Tips, incredible, you...can get the same type of food for half price in LA. A total ripoff, do not go there if you want Mexican it is a trap. I do not understand why this restaurant is still open when you can have excellent Mexican food in LA pretty much everywhere for half price. Stay away form La Cabana.More

I needed a meal quite late ( after 10pm) and my local friend suggested to go here. It’s a classic old Gringo Mexican joint like I visited in the early 1970’s. I ordered the Fish Tacos but learned there are two varieties. One is blackened...fish type and the other the lightly battered and fried Baja Tacos. I got the blackened fish as I didn’t know there were variations. It wasn’t to my liking but that may be an ordering mishap on my part. After that, I always check the Tacos we’re Baja style. Anyway it’s a safe old place where you’ll get a decently price filling meal with pleasant service and opens very late.More

The food is good, menu is large, service is friendly and they always look after you. Nachos with ground beef is a great starter! Tableside made guacamole. Roaming musicians. Valet parking is easier than hunting for your own.

La Cabaña was an absolutely fantastic gem to stumble across. On one of our nightly adventures to find good food where locals eat, we knocked it out the park. The restaurant is casual, laid back, and defiantly a hot spot for middle age adults to...relax with friends for great food and good conversation; the restaurant is very family friendly and had a mixed range of ages as well. It was just the two of us (36 and 29 years old) but we enjoyed the atmosphere. We went around 8pm. The food is very good. I wouldn’t say we are foodies but we enjoy well prepared and great tasting food; my wife LOVEs Mexican food so she can be very particular. Needless to say when we visit Venice Beach again, we will be back here to eat. The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. If you are looking for a very casual sit down place that is less fancy, with good food, great service/staff and chill people, you will not be disappointed with La Cabaña.More

We held an anniversary event here for my wife's parents. It was a superb experience all round: Great service, excellent food, and a fabulous mariachi band. The guac was the best I have ever had and the margaritas were perfect. A repeatable experience.

We went to this Mexican restaurant to try “real Mexican” and we weren’t disappointed. Everything was delicious, especially recommend the steak fajita! Looks & tastes very authentic

It seemed appropriate to visit a Mexican restaurant. Who knows? There might be a wall next time I go to LA. The nachos were crisp and the sauce had a good kick. I had the quesadilla which I really enjoyed. The beer was great too....Highly recommendedMore
