It's the Wandering Yank here. Mrs. Yank and I were in LA recently and our daughter recommended Pizzicotto. Great recommendation! We went there on 2 consecutive nights. Between 5 meals, we had 1 Caesar salad, 4 pastas,1 chicken dish, 1 bottle and 2 glasses of wine. Everything was delicious! Servers all appear to be from Naples, and they're all enthusiastic.... For my buck, Pizzicotto is more authentic Italian than say Palmeri along with being less pricy. The surrounds are more Italian, the service and menu likewise. This is a good Italian place if you're in the mood and in the neighborhood.

I had lunch here a few times during our stay in LA last fall. This is a small unpretentious restaurant with a genuine ambience and straightforward delicious Italian food. Not fancy but never disappointing. Service was great. Discrete, friendly and efficient, it gave that feeling that they really care for their customers without boasting about it. My wife and kids... Had one of the better risotto dishes here, the staff puts a lot of love into their food, and the quality is great.

Pizzicotto is a cozy Italian bistro in the heart of Brentwood, that offers authentic regional Italian dishes at reasonable prices. As soon as you enter the restaurant you receive a very warm Italian welcome that is followed-up by equally friendly service staff. The selection of dishes is extensive with many great choices. I liked this restaurant so much I had... More

Very good, authentic Italian in Brentwood. I love their pizza with Arugula< Prociutto Crudo and shaved Parmiggiano. They also have great salads and the pasta looks amazing too.

Great menu and solid selection of reasonably priced wines. You get the feeling it's a family-run operation, though I'm not positive this is the case (just see the same people over the course of several years working here). Highly recommend the priest stranglers pasta dish (spicy sausage and short cut pasta in a delicious sauce). This place is always busy.

Yes we like this restaurant. They even upgraded their bread recently so that they now serve an excellent sour dough as opposed to the doughy, tasteless bread they previously had. Tonight we had a delicious Arrabbiata, Chicken Milanese, White Fish and Large Salad with Grilled Chicken. All four of us were pleased with our selections. The waiter was pleasant and... More
