Madeo is a really old-fashioned large dining room with tables and booths that are most comfortable. I had the Bronzino which was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We all had wine and everyone's dish was also excellent. I finished off with some cappuccino which was also very good. This restaurant is a bit pricey so be prepared. For us it... More

We were staying in Beverly Hills for 4 days and we ate dinner here twice. Both times the food was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and very professional. Homemade pasta, burrata, bolognese all delicious. Very warm atmosphere

This authentic Italian restaurant is run by the same family that started it 33 years ago. While a bit expensive it is fresh, tasty and quality ingredients which always make for a great meal. The leek soup is outstanding, then eggplant appetizer is authentic and the lobster spaghetti is delicious. Across the table my friends had the salted bronzino which... More

Great ambiance, lots of people watching going on. The food was ok. Not spectacular but ok. The down side is as if you are sitting in the basement of a building and I don't like that feeling. Apart than that i had gnocchi unfortunately was quite salty.

We never miss an opportunity to stop at Madeo on our trips to L.A. The pizzas are thin and delicious. The pasta is always tender, it practically melts in your mouth. Wonderful home cooked, traditional food. Try the Penne Madeo. Nothing like it!

Two children and three adults enjoyed ourselves and had good meatball and melanzana appetizers. We followed that with great seafood soup, spaghetti bolognese, and pasta with egg plant. Dessert of tiramisu and pistachio ice cream was a good ending. Would have preferred gelato, but still good. Really old school and I love it! A bit noisy

What a wonderful meal, great service and ambience and fabulous food! I started with eggplant parmigiana , perfectly done and then chose the veal special which was probably the best veal dish I've ever tasted, finely sliced( shaved) and served with a beautiful jus, roasted potatoes and spinach , a very generous serving! Others chose the caprese salad, a spaghetti marinara... More

Have been going to Madeo for many years, always delicious food despite it being pricey. Went there tonight (Monday 12 September) because we all had a yen for some seafood, some good wine and delicious desserts. I'd hurt my ankle and it was difficult to stand as we waited for a table to be available. This miserably nasty, loud and... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
