This was our first trip to the USA and the Ivy had been recommended by a friend so we booked through Open table before travelling this would be recommended as it is a very popular place for tourists and locals alike, they say even the stars dine but alas we never saw anybody apart for ourselves lol.We were politely greeted... We had a morning reservation & sat outside on the patio. They offered complementary champagne upon arrival. The atmosphere was nice & relaxing. My favorite is the fresh squeezed orange juice. We opted for the filet carne Asada & it was plentiful & delicious. The service was top notch. Before departing we were given those delicious cookies.

I had a very bad experience here. I had made an advance reservation yet I still had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. They is no real waiting area, they ushered us back to a small room at the back of the restaurant to wait until the table was ready which was already filled with about 20 people.... More

Such a delightful cafe with flowers galore! Loved the whole atmosphere! The waiters ties are so pretty. The pottery all hand made beauties. The food is so fresh: fried stuffed goat cheese zucchini flowers (YUM!), the crab salad, and the most refreshing champagne sangria (not too sweet).

Did lunch at Ivy and the vibe was great. Complimentary champagne once we arrived and was quickly seated at our table. Great place for people watching and the food is delicious.

Your welcomed with a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival. We got sat on a lovely corner table, however they do squeeze as many people as they can around each table and you don't feel like you're having a very private meal. My partner had the lobster pizza, which for a pizza was very over priced considering we only counted... More

Visited The Ivy after hearing so much about the place and everything lived up to expectation. The service was great, nothing was too much trouble and Daniel our waiter was amazing. The food was great, good portions and would recomend the Banana split for dessert. The Cocktails were the best thing about the experence for me, Daniel knew about each... More

Wow - what a place. Said to be one of LA's most buzzing places - and it is. We went with a party of five today - and every dish was delicious. Of course the place is far from being a bargain - I had the lobster linguini, which were worth every penny of the $55.
