Cool restaurant in downtown LA. Mostly smaller plates and several larger ones. Highly recommend -- ricotta fritters, Brussels sprouts, mushroom flatbread, hand torn pasta, Japanese eggplant, steak (large plate only one), and half chicken. The only thing we didn't love was the octopus and pork belly plate. Great for sharing and trying lots of dishes. Too full for dessert :)... More

Wow! Just wow! Went here because we were nearby based on yelp recommendations. It really exceeded our expectations. Ricotta fritters were especially delicious and so was salad with goat cheese and warm pears. Amazing ingredients creatively combined. I only had food of this quality in France. I wish we had something like this on the east coast!.

Fabulous quality, great taste and perfect sized portions. It's tapas, but not too small. Very friendly staff as well, we had a great evening!

DTLA must have a lot of wonderful restaurants, b/c this place was fab and we didn't have a problem getting a reservation. We ate outside on the sidewalk tables which made for a fun people watching experience. We focused on the small plates, and didn't try the baco's, big plates or flatbread. We started with the (almost) obligatory ricotta fritters.... More

Located on a gentrified section of downtown LA, Baco is small plates with Spanish flair. Favorites: the warm brussel speouts Caesar, skirt steak and the Mondays-only spaghetti and pork meatballs.

I don't know much about the non-vegetarian food as I am a vegetarian and this place has got alot of veggie options which works best for me. My favorites are: 1. Za'atar, Eggplant and Fava (the flavor is to die for) 2. Ricotta Fritters (It has a sweet and salty flavor) 3. Okra Basil (this is my favorite. Sadly they... More

This place is a surprise of natural foods and beverages. It does have a full bar, but the treats are locally made natural sodas, lots of vegan, gluten free and a mixture of all the same with some meat if you choose, Very good food, friendly service and filled with locals.

Downtown and hip with good atmosphere, Service was attentive and fast. The food though, was the star, as it should be. I had the Lavender and Sesame Crusted Albacore. Amazing flavors and I could I have devoured it all had it not been for the large group I was with who all order other items. Everything I tried was delicious.... More

Went on a Friday evening with adult children. The place is hoping with a new younger downtown crowd. The place is fun, but not a fine type of dining experience. The place is casual with tables packed tight. Must have reservations or luck. They have a great bourbon and whisky selection, but limited vodka and other beverages. They have decent... More
