This time it didn't work out. The kitchen did a good job. The servers didn't. I had to wait three times unnecessary. That's to much. In this Price Region You have to do it better. 😒😒😒

Sat outside overlooking the ocean and the beach. Some great drinks, a Strawberry Daquiri and an Margarita as well as Calamari and lobster and Brussel sprouts and broccoli. I did like that no one rushed us to move the table and service was good. Prices a bit on the high side but I find that true when you get good... More

We travel to Pacific Palisades every year for Thanksgiving and Gladstones is traditional stop for us for cocktails, appetizers and dinner. Brunch is good too!

Had a great meal here on the way to LAX. Great views overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Great food. Friendly staff. Large car park next door.

If you've read my other reviews you know we often just have brew & Bites so I can not judge anything other than that. Just know if you're not eating main meal you're relegated to outside picnic benches or inside with no fresh Pacific breeze or view. We enjoyed it and the food. Had a very tasty local Santa Monica... Go to spot whenever someone comes to LA. It's view is top notch, when on the patio, never have sat inside. The clam chowder is a must have. I have swayed many friend's view about clam chowder with it. Solid sandwiches and cocktails. Price is consistent with the rest of the restaurants in the area.

After flying all day from the east coast, went here for lunch. Sat outside on the deck overlooking Malibu. Excellent cocktail selection and we had the homemade onion rings to start and fish tacos as our entree. Service was perfect and the food was great. I understand they may be closing soon (?) but hopefully not - this is a... More

Can't beat the view of the Southern Pacific Coast. It gets quite loud if more than three tables are full. The window tables are all booths, so be prepared for a three-year old peaking at you if you're at the window. Gladstone's is a great place for a birthday, but not for a romantic evening out....too loud and too public.... More

We went there shortly before the sunset and were sitting outside. A jung guy took care of us and we received a free pie as I had been promoted at work. We ate all very good meals and really enjoyed the atmosphere. I am from Europe but whenever I am back in LA, I will eat there. Great stuff!!

This quirky ocean-themed restaurant boasts eclectic menu mostly concentrating of fresh fish that is sourced daily but also features ''From the Land'' dishes such as Prime Angus Beef and Mary's Organic Chicken. Vegetarians won't be disappointed too, however, don't expect a lot of choices at Gladstone Malibu as it is primarily seafood place. Upon our visit, we sampled a couple... More

Description
In a world where landmarks are few and far between there is Gladstone's. Situated where Sunset Boulevard meets the Pacific Coast Highway, it's become a place of Southern California legend. One visit and you'll see why. Gladstones offers a menu plucked from the very ocean it overlooks, serving modern renditions of classic dishes as well as favorites from the land. In its typically relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, there's something to satisfy every palate. Whether you're at the raw bar, the lounge, the dining rooms or the grand patio overlooking the surf, it's commonly agreed there's no better place on the coast to enjoy fresh seafood, a Mai Tai or the most beautiful sunset views in SoCal. Book a reservation by phone or web or stop by and enjoy the experience.
