Probably the least expensive restaurant on the sand in, or close to, Malibu. But not cheap. Service was not good on the Wednesday evening we went. Waiter wasn't around when I needed him. Food was good: Salmon blackened, and Fried Shrimp for my daughter. Portions were amble. House chardonnay was not good. Valet or free-self-parking. The waiter situation was a... More

I went to Gladstones with my 89 year old grandparents for lunch. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to them, helped them sit down and took our orders promptly. Service was quick and so friendly and the food of course was outstanding as always! Amazing onion rings and great wedge salad. Along with the pesto crusted salmon which was... More

Stopped off on our PCH road trip south. Nice position on beach with inside and outside seating. We choose the cooler inside. Valet car parking $7 but managed to park on side of road. Had chicken wraps which were large and good. A bit more than we needed and not too cheap either but i guess that was our choice.... More

Great spot for outdoor dining at Malibu, right on the water. Especially if the weather is nice, which it was for us. We had great service and ordered a huge seafood platter that arrived on ice. We were relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Some friends and I stopped fore dinner here on our way to a show at the Getty Villa. The view is spectacular, and while the menu items are a little pricey, the view is worth it all. Several of us had the pesto chicken pasta, which was excellent, although our friend who had a burger said that it was also... More

Had a late lunch here on a beautiful day and sat right on the beach over looking the ocean. The view and location are great and parking, while expensive ($9) is easy. We both had steamed clams and a wedge salad and everything was very good. We have no complaints other than the portions sizes are substantially smaller than comparable... More

I live in the LA area but hadn't been to Gladstones in nearly 30 years. I drive by in the summer and see that it is still incredibly busy .... and figured it popular with tourists but the food probably isn't very good. That's what I thought ....... But I happened to be in the area with friends over the... More

This place was a beautiful site to have a wedding at, the staff was friendly and the food was great. I was really happy that we had a family reunion there to see my niece get married.

In a world where landmarks are few and far between there is Gladstone's. Situated where Sunset Boulevard meets the Pacific Coast Highway, it's become a place of Southern California legend. One visit and you'll see why. Gladstones offers a menu plucked from the very ocean it overlooks, serving modern renditions of classic dishes as well as favorites from the land. In its typically relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, there's something to satisfy every palate. Whether you're at the raw bar, the lounge, the dining rooms or the grand patio overlooking the surf, it's commonly agreed there's no better place on the coast to enjoy fresh seafood, a Mai Tai or the most beautiful sunset views in SoCal. Book a reservation by phone or web or stop by and enjoy the experience.
