Many places in Hollywood are simply overrated and woefully overpriced. Not so Cleo. Tucked away in the Redbury otel just off Hollywood and Vine, if you didnt know it was there, you wouldnt find it. And that would be too bad. Choose cocktail from a great list, or have a standby favoriyt like a Rye Old Fashioned, with several excellent... More

I love restaurants where you get multiple small plates to share. But this was one of the better small plate experiences I've ever had. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about bot the food and wine. The service was swift, but not rushed (we were dining before the theater so we had a time constraint). And the quality of the food... More

Cleo is a longtime favorite - the food here is simply outstanding and what keeps us coming back. Favorites include the labneh, Brussels sprouts, beef kebab with harissa, shawarma, moussaka, chicken tagine, and lamb shank. Great cocktails too - I love the janapolitan (belvedere vodka, strawberry and basil) and the old Hollywood (like an old fashioned with delicious nutty bitters).... More

If you go begin slowly as the food is delicious and ordering everything on the menu will leave you bloated. Best bet is to have people or one or two plates and then everyone share, if you want more, and you will, do a plate at a time. This is not some greasy spoon joint. The food is not over done... More

The food was well prepared and presented in a wonderful 5 start fashion. Im sorry the flavor was not in my wheelhouse so I don't think I should comment on the quality. I can comment on the service and that was top notch. If you are into this type of food I would highly recommend going.

非常喜歡這裡的環境,食物很美味,服務生超熱情而專業,請務必把自己的喜好告訴他們,因為他們推薦的菜餚都很合口味。 Don't be hesitate to tell the waiter your flavor, because you will have the most wonderful courses afterward.

We ate here in September, 2016, to meet up with locals who chose this restaurant. It was definitely lively with a nice bar. It is a tapas style, meaning pricey choices on small plates. Our server recommended getting at least 3-4 plates per person (about $45-60+ right off the start). They had a nice wine list, and the food was... More

Cleo is inside the Redbury Hotel, great place, décor and the vibe of the place is super, the food is just awesome, the cocktails are so refreshing and the service of Cleo is awesome too. For start we had 2 cocktails, one with orange and prosecco and cardamom and the other with elderflower and cucumber. For food we had grilled... More

Tapas style food so small portions but amazing quality. I tried many of the different dishes and loved them all - my favourite was the steak. So juicy it just melts in your mouth!! We went to cleos on our first night stay in the Redbury and loved it so much we went back twice before we left! Definitely recommend... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
