Nice setup, beautiful place but I wasn't too amazed which Cleo's service for group tables. Set Menu was expensive for what is was (thin pizza, bread and more bread and little meat). Drinks were way expensive, way more than at the Library club upstairs. Table for 20 was tiny tiny. I will give it try with my wife just for... More

I was under-impressed with the Valentine's Dinner Menu. Their opening dish was okay...their salad still okay...their main dish options of Lobster Tortellini vs the Prime Steak were a little better. You get 5 tortellini where the pasta was a little too al dente. As for the steak, it was actually pretty good and cooked to the perfect temperature. As for... More

Awesome evening for you and your significant other. Best to let the waiter order for you, as the Tapas aspect is fantastic. It's a little pricey, and we had a 6:30 reservation on a Tuesday night, to make an 8pm show at the Pantages, and that cut it too close, as the place was packed and the kitchen was understandably... Food was excellent, everything we have had was very tasty, however, I was not that impressed with the hummus. Being a Lebanese and Hummus is a key starter in our cuisine, I was not sure in which recipe they have prepared it, it had a spice which I didn't mind but definitely not my favorite. The service was excellent, hats... More

This is an excellent restaurant to dine before seeing a play at the Pantages Theatre. It is right around the corner and the knowledgeable wait staff know to get you out in time for the theater. Even though everyone dining that night seemed to be heading to the theatre they got us all out on time. Small plates are wonderful... More

Excellent restaurant in a funky hotel setting. Lots of good small plate options including delicious flatbreads and make sure you leave room for dessert.. They also have an excellent bar withmany special coktails and you can also have a drink at the lounge upstairs in the hotel and sit outside on the terrace.

Ate at the bar for a quick, light dinner before heading out to a show, but entrees were great, service was friendly and attentive (no "too cool to smile" attitude here!!)

Went to a Matinee at the Pantages. Parked @ Redbury Hotel (Cleo is inside Hotel). A bit of a gap between arrival for dinner and opening - so had a drink & snack upstair at the Library - hit happy hour - perfect timing. Dinner was great - service is fantastic - server made excellent recommendations. Another plus - 15%... More

The food is simply fantastic and sophisticated. The only downside of the place is that it can be a bit noisy. Do not miss the shawarma

I have now been to this restaurant twice on two trips to a LA show. Great location, cool hotel, best fresh bread & food in this area. Many small plates with lots of flavor.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
