From bad to worse, I ordered food for delivery and not only 1.5 hrs later I did not have it, but when I called the restaurant they said that I will not get it :). I could barely understand the person on the phone and...he didn't seem to care at all. He said to come and get it as the food is ready. 1.5 hrs later the food must be stone cold and I asked if they will remake the food, the answer was no. I couldn't believe my ears and just said no way. The restaurant is Almaza in culver city, CA. The next day I asked Eatstreet for a full refund and they said they won't do it as the restaurant confirmed the order and I should call the restaurant! There is no way I am ever even calling this horrible place and on top of this Eatstreet did not want to move their finger to earn the thousands of dollars I paid them in comissions over the time I had used them. So I just disputed the transaction with my card and got 100% refund (thanks Amex!). Anyhow, never use Eatstreet again and never go to Almaza again!More

This place has very good Mediterranean food. Probably some of the best you’ll find in the city. But be aware, it is just as much a hookah bar as it is a restaurant. The inside smells like hookah, and it is extremely prominent. Sitting outside...is probably a bit better. The food was so good but the smell distracted me. If it might bother you, take out is probably a better option. I also had a little trouble with the service, having to ask for water and silverware multiple times. Very close to a 5 star experience because the food was absolutely amazing but I can’t say it was without flaws.More

I dropped in on the way back to LAX. Its not in the traditional middle eastern areas of LA but not hard to get to either in as much as anything can be not hard to get to in LA. great selection of traditional middle...eastern staples. The parking lot next door was a little sketch so I wouldn't leave anything in the car but otherwise great place I'd like to hit up again next time I am in town.More

The food here was really really good and the staff was helpful!! All the appetizers (grape leaves, Jubba, hommus) and the main course (kebab) tasted amazing. We stopped here on more than one occasion would recommend to anyone :-)

Love this place -it's really close to my house so my husband and I order from there A LOT. It always smells great because of the fragrant shishas, and the shawarma and dolmas are delicious!

Just exploring the area for Mediterranean food and we discovered this gem! First off, the hummus with chicken was heavenly. I could have ended my meal early just with that appetizer!!! I have never tasted such a flavorful hummus, ever! Next, I tried the Seafood...Combination which includes Salmon and shrimp. I also had the garlic fries and rice!!! Everything was exponentially Yummy!!! If I only at one resturant for the rest of my life, Almaza would be it!!!! The service was great and accomodating. The ambiance was really nice for lunch! I will definitely be back! Again and Again! Superb!More

Staff are attentive. The food is very good. Price is right relative to the neighborhood. Spacious and looks like they can accomodate group of 10+. A bit on the slower side for food to come out but totally worth it. Love the patio area. Highly...recommended!More

Wanted to try a decent sit down Lebanese restaurant for lunch while in LA. Saw this one on TA and decided to try it. We had hummus, kibbe and grape leaves for apps. All were tasty and freshly made. The amount of hummus was kind...of scant for 4 people. We had falafel, kafta and chicken kabob sandwiches and Kafta plate. Food was very well prepared. Had some lapses in service (refills, had to wait for check). It was very empty inside but about 20 folks on patio smoking hookahs. Very smelly.More
