In W Hotel across the street from the Pantages. Valet parking is easy and only $8 with validation from the restaurant. Food is terrific and service is great. But, make reservations well in advance as theater goers have all found this popular place. Food & bar service is also available on a lovely patio which, at lunchtime, feels very sheltered... More

After reading reviews and looking at the restaurant online I was a little hesitant on eating here. It didn't disappoint. The service at first was not great, but picked up once they told us there was a birthday party of 75 people going on and one server called in sick at the last minute. Once the replacement server came in... More

We had never heard of the place before, but it is right across the street from the Pantages Theatre, so we ducked in to have a bite before the show - what a surprise! It has an interesting layout, an atmosphere that is on the upscale side without being snobby. We thoroughly enjoyed the food (and wine!), the service was... More

We valet parked at the W Hotel while the four of us attended the current show at the Pantages Theater, which is located directly across the street. The restaurant provides validation for $10 parking. We had 4:45 pm reservations but the show ended much earlier than expected so we had to wait almost an hour before we could be seated... More

My family dined at the Delphine and had a delicious breakfast. The eggs were some of the best I've had in a restaurant. The pancakes were thick and fabulous with sautéed bananas. My son enjoyed his eggs Benedict. The breakfast was on the expensive side, but tasted fabulous!

a really varied menu allows a choice of breakfasts/lunch & dinners served in plenty of time if visiting the Pantages Theatre across the street. The service was dynamite and the food was quite good. Note that there is 16% service charge added to all bills which takes the "agony" out of what to tip. This is the main restaurant of... More

First the good. Pretty, intimate space. Prompt seating and friendly service. Good french toast. Cons: The hostess tried to seat us in a sad little table in the bar when there were clearly several very nice booths open. I requested a better table immediately and was told she wasn't sure if there was a server available but she would check.... More

Sadly this would have been perfect before going to theater BUT The service was so horribly slow and incapable of getting anything right. Totally overpriced with very small portions. Salads overdressed. Eggs overcooked. Tuna sandwich greasy. Fruit salad old and soggy. Omelette tasteless. French toast terribly boring. What a waste of time and money. Be warned!

The Delphine, at the W hotel at Hollywood and VIne was far and way one of the most pleasant surprises we found. It was consistently excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a diverse menu that could satisfy a picky eater. The sandwiches were tasty and filling, the dinner entrees were prepared to perfection, and the drinks were well poured... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
