My daughter fell in love with the donuts. They had these really good steamed stuff dough balls. Excellent. They also had smoothies and other interesting baked goods. We loved it and stopped here daily while visiting.

Don't miss this terrific bakery. The counter staff is very engaging and the variety excellent. Eclairs are filled with whipped cream instead of custard which was disappointing but the pastries were yummy

There is something magical about walking into a store and looking at a glass case filled with yummy baked goods. Yamasaki Bakery is such a place, and they have a lot more. Beyond the cases of fantastic Japanese baked goods, they have breads, steamed buns, coffee and a window where you can watch their cake artisans create awesome delights. This... More

I visited this establishment on 11/23/15. There were two ladies staffed, one on the phone and the other serving patrons. The young lady serving customers was abrupt, rude; she seemed impatient when patrons don't know immediately what they want. Not a nice experience for tourists like myself. I ordered the Oreo Cheesecake, which wasn't a cheesecake at all. It consisted... More

I love love this bakery! One of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday is to hit up little Tokyo for breakfast and then China Town for shopping and lunch. To be honest I would drive all the way for just the cream puffs and skip the rest, but that's just me and my sweet tooth. The classic vanilla is... More

Usually, around august every year i goto the nisei week festivities and regularly stop by here for snacks. One of the only stores that has soft serve ice cream to cooldown during the summer heat. They have a decent selection of pastries and they are not all japanese themed you can pickup regular items like cream puffs and fruit tarts

I stop by whenever I am in Little Tokyo for breakfast. My favorites are the pizza pastry and the hot dog rolls. Their pastry is cheaper than Starbucks and taste better.

Bought myself a little birthday cake here (with fresh strawberries), and we were all a happy bunch. Like the pan and all the other little individual treats, too, and the selection of Japanese imported iced teas. You can enjoy your treats in the benches outside.

Friends turned me into this bakery. The coffee roll so good. Kinda like a hawaiin bread made with coffee instead of water. It's a step beyond good for the soul. Coconut muffin is just as good. Staff is friendly and it's priced right.

This is a favorite spot because of their high quality and fresh baked goods. I prefer it to another nearby bakery in Little Tokyo and have compared the two. Yamazaki has an excellent selection of breads, rolls, and pastries. Their croissants are very good and also the raisin buns are just like what you can find in Japan. A special... More
