I've come here before and today was yet another pleasant experience. I was served by Shahed (Forgive me if I spelled it wrong) and she did a wonderful job in serving us; was very kind and understanding. We ordered multiple items such as: Baklava, Knafeh,...Basbousa, Falafel salad, Chicken Kabob, Lentil soup. Everything tasted really well and I was highly satisfied, especially with the freshness of their salads. Their baklava is VERY sweet even for me and I have a strong sweet tooth so one order of baklava is enough for two. Knafeh was an interesting taste and texture but the least sweet. Basbousa was simple and grainy, felt like it needed an extra portion to justify its price but it was good nonetheless. The majority of their items are a bit smaller than expected for their price but their quality and consistency of the food is noted. If you want something small or moderate in size while still maintaining quality, this is your place. It can get a bit pricy so you may want to look at prices online first but all in all, I would definitely return.More

It's obvious that that attention for middle eastern/Mediterranean cuisine near this area is turned towards Halal Guys. But if that's all you've had, I urge you to give Tarboosh a try. I find this place to not only be more authentic, but you can tell...that they put a lot more work into making your dishes perfect. My go to dish here has got to be the trio platter with a mixture of the beef, lamb, and chicken kebab. The platter comes with hummus, rice, salad, and 2 pitas. A colorful dish on its own. I would also recommend to order the whole chicken platter. More importantly, all dishes come with a side of homemade white garlic sauce that is absolutely addicting. One of the things that keep me coming back is that the employees are always kind. I only wish the salad and rice portions are a bit bigger for the price. And I've come to always find that parking is hassle in this area. Other than that, everything else is great enough for me to keep coming back!More
