We called in for the macaroons on the advice of a local friend and they were great. Easily as good as Parisienne ones, with interesting flavours like dragonfruit. They were so good we called in again twice (and we were only in LA for 4...days!). Magnifique!More

We've gone there a couple of times in the past and have enjoyed the food immensely. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's been a while so I can't remember, exactly, what we ate but, I can assure you, it was delicious.

We stopped in to enjoy their pastry counter, and boy did it NOT disappoint! Macarons and other tasty treats displayed to absolute perfection. Staff was amazing, and the macarons we purchased lived up to their reputation. This is a 'don't miss' destination when in West...Hollywood.More

This was recommended by our friends when we visited Los Angeles. And I’m happy we went for brunch. Their menu prices are on the higher scale but the food is worth every penny. I highly recommend! Service is good and macarons are delicious.

CaMe here for a birthday brunch. It was a Sunday morning and it was a pretty good crowd to be so early. There was a bit of a wait as they do not take reservations, however they do check for vaccination cards. This place is like...a French Italian dream reminds you of both countries, with rows of fresh bread ,colorful pastries and macaroons. an open kitchen and beautiful masonry. I was loving the decor! The bakery packages your order in cute pink and purple boxes tied with a satin ribbon. There is even a pizza oven in the middle of the dining room so you Can see the whole process. Starched table cloths and servers in white, all That’s missing is the Eiffel Tower or the Roman coliseum, not sure? Had the lobster hash and the souflee pancake both fresh and delicious. Cant wait to return for dinner.More

I had a wonderful lunch with a beautiful friend at Louie’s - who would have thought a simple catch up for salad and pizza would feel like I was back in Roma? We shared a Caesar, and the Louie (crab, avocado, egg, a secret dressing…...need I say more?).. followed by one of the best pizzas I’ve had since living in Italy. Sit out the beach if you can, it’s simply gorgeous, and the staff are wonderfully accomodating. Plus, of course you MUST treat yourself to a pastry of three (four? Five?) on the way out. Inside I was in Roma, on the way out, back in Paris!! A true patisserie… how can anyone resist those macarons?? I dare you!! Thank you Louie…More

The Bottega Louie restaurant in West Hollywood would not pull up so I am writing a review. This restaurant on Santa Monica Blvd is gorgeous, clean and has a wonderful covered patio in the back. We had the Tortufo Pizza with black truffles and it...was outstanding. It is plenty for two or 3 people. Nicholas was our waiter and could not have been nicer and more helpful. He will be my go to waiter there from now on. Love this place!More

Hands down, the BEST Italian food I have ever had! Such a good variety and a great experience! My whole party ordered different dishes, so it got to sample a few different dishes! Just say yes to dessert!

I love the Bottega Louie restaurant downtown, so was eager to try the new restaurant on Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood. As only my second post-vaccine meal out, I met friends from New York for lunch. Everyone loved their meals, and especially the chocolate...eclair for dessert. The salmon I had was delicious - light sauce and atop a grain which I think was cous cous. My friends had a salad and a veal or chicken parmigiana, which was more than enough to feed both of them. It is pricey for lunch, but I am cutting restaurants slack these days because of the need to come back from pandemic challenges. I heartily recommend the restaurant.More

Bottega Louie…such a great place to go with a date or a small group of friends. It’s quite loud and crowded, very New York like. I’ve never been to New York, but this is exactly how I would imagine it to be. You’re immediately drawn...in by all the cute little pastries because there’s so much to look at and so many different colors. They have a bar if all you want to do is drink. The food was de-lish. You must try the portobello fries, but I definitely recommend sharing this with at least 2 to 3 people. We shared the lamb chops and lasagna, both really good. Overall, this is an absolute must, you will not regret it!More

Filled the day touring in LA with the Peterson Car Museum/Griffith Observatory and was directed here by the staff of the Westin. In my 50+ plus years in dining out at mid/finer eateries, I have never been in a louder enviro and I spent 20...years around aircraft/airports. The building wasn't build as a restaurant and the three story structure with no art work on wall, trees or attempts to lower the ceiling while lovely, it like eating in a warehouse. The noise is like moving around LA., an assualt on your senses. We were fortunate enough to get a booth in a back corner, so we could at least talk or hand sign each other. It really is a bakery cafe with euro bistro in the back. According to our daughter @ USC, the bakery has really tasty treats, but to the back we went. Wife had gnocchi in vodka, son had the pot roast pasta and they were both really savory, I had burger which was average. We had the Choc souffle w/bday candle for daughter's bday and it was outstanding. Out the door for 120 for four so pretty good for donwtown LA, our waiter was above average, but we got a free side of attitude from the support staff.More

Nice place for a more fancy breakfast before going on the metro, or a tempting dessert after a dinner downtown. For this you can point to what you want and find a table and the staff will bring it. We did not eat a main...meal here but lots of good prep going on for lunch. Quality of food is very good and nicely presented.More
