I would give 5 starelaa if it had been well served, but I did not have that experience, it looks like I was doing a favor in buying. But as the desire to try the candy was greater, I bought it, but normally I ⁇ 't even buy it. Pistache sweet is delicious, light, tasty, gentle and not very sweet. The place is very beautiful, spacious and one can do from full meals, or a stop for coffee or eat one of the delicious sweets. The price is a bit expensive, candy ranges from $14 to $16 the piece is big around $45 and meals follow the same price pattern.

Bottega Louie was recommended for lunch by staff at our hotel and is on the 700 block of S. Grand Ave. It is a bright and open restaurant, and upon entering, you are greeted by an intoxicating aroma. The lunch menu is varied with breakfast foods, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. There is a huge display case of macarons and other Italian desserts. Our server, Gladys, made our experience all the more pleasant with her kind, pleasant, and outgoing personality. This restaurant is also open for breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended!

CaMe here for a birthday brunch. It was a Sunday morning and it was a pretty good crowd to be so early. There was a bit of a wait as they do not take reservations, however they do check for vaccination cards. This place is like a French Italian dream reminds you of both countries, with rows of fresh bread ,colorful pastries and macaroons. an open kitchen and beautiful masonry. I was loving the decor! The bakery packages your order in cute pink and purple boxes tied with a satin ribbon. There is even a pizza oven in the middle of the dining room so you Can see the whole process. Starched table cloths and servers in white, all That’s missing is the Eiffel Tower or the Roman coliseum, not sure? Had the lobster hash and the souflee pancake both fresh and delicious. Cant wait to return for dinner.

Disclaimer: This review concerns only the entrance area coffee and pastry/bakery service and not the sit-down dining area. The patisserie and coffee area is an impersonal operation masquerading as a fine French-style cafe & patisserie. It all looks beautiful from the outside and is very clean and proper inside but there are big problems. Patrons must place requests for coffee and baked goods through a single computerized ordering system and there is only one kiosk in the store. While I waited in line to order, staff waited (in some cases rather idly) for the electronic orders once made-and-paid to arrive at their station. At which point the order was prepared and then handed over with a very quick "thank you". What makes these kinds of venues so special in Europe and South America (and elsewhere I've encountered them in the US) is THE STAFF and the PERSONAL INTERACTION. This was basically a glorified McDonald's experience but with high quality products presented beautifully but alas without soul or warmth. It pains me to say that Starbucks even has a more personal touch. One additional note, everything was automatically packed by staff "to go" although there are tables where to-go orders can be consumed on marble cafe tables. So a ton of wasteful packaging gets used and trashed if you don't take away and dine in. Further, the beautiful lavender box with gold embossing in which my budino was seated in a little cradle was not secured properly and/or did not hold the budino securely enough. After walking no more than 15 feet from the sales counters to a table, when I opened the box there was a caramel mess (see photo).

They charged us higher for a croissant whereas we’d asked for a pastry. When I highlighted the error, they didn’t refund the amount proactively until I had to speak to a manager. The manager assured me of a refund but it’s been 12 days now, and I have not received it yet and I don't think its coming. I cannot trust this place again. The place is also very loud, you can barely communicate with the staff or amongst yourselves. The food was mediocre at best, and we’ve had better food at other nearby bakeries.

This is a nice looking venue but we were so disappointed in the food overall (didn’t try the sweet treats which do look amazing). I had the bolognese which was okay, friend had pizza which was overwhelmed with garlic, only able to eat two slices- awful. Staff were friendly but I would not go back, the coffee at the end was so bitter- a bad end to an underwhelming meal 😔

The place is beautiful, you will want everything from the moment you are waiting to enter. The taste is uff, we ordered caccio pepe, bolognese, pizza peperonni, madonne salad, dessert the great macarone and the bignetes... I couldn't say which was my favorite because everything tasted very good, the only thing I could say is that they take a little while in the service and I suggest booking so you don't miss out. If you are a little conservative and you go with little children, the area is for an adult party haha

Me and my girlfriend we were looking for an italian restaurant. Service was excellent very friendly staff. Food is overpriced for what it is $100 for a pepperoni pizza, pasta and 2 small cokes. The Place is fancy if you’re trying to impress your partner but if you’re just traveling not a good place to eat at.

Perfect eatery combined with a French patisserie kind of vibe in one of the most lively location in West Hollywood. The place is vibing especially during a Sunday brunch after Saturday’s shenanigans. The eggs Benedict were just perfect and people watching while sipping a Mimosa in the very spacious restaurant or in the garden is what makes its sophisticated ambiance. The food has a nice selection of sweet and savoury dishes and the cocktails are just so good.

We find a similar Italian-French cuisine with hints of the American one I went there for dinner and having found it to my liking I returned several times. If you are staying in L.A. and feel like eating well, I highly recommend

This was recommended by our friends when we visited Los Angeles. And I’m happy we went for brunch. Their menu prices are on the higher scale but the food is worth every penny. I highly recommend! Service is good and macarons are delicious.

I love the Bottega Louie restaurant downtown, so was eager to try the new restaurant on Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood. As only my second post-vaccine meal out, I met friends from New York for lunch. Everyone loved their meals, and especially the chocolate eclair for dessert. The salmon I had was delicious - light sauce and atop a grain which I think was cous cous. My friends had a salad and a veal or chicken parmigiana, which was more than enough to feed both of them. It is pricey for lunch, but I am cutting restaurants slack these days because of the need to come back from pandemic challenges. I heartily recommend the restaurant.

We ate at Bottega Louie 3 out of our 5 days stay, during a business conference in Downtown LA Financial District. Tells you how much we enjoy the food, ambience and selection of Pattiserie for to bring back to the hotel. We love everything we ordered, from Smoked Salmon Benedict, French Toast (with Pear Compote), Farmers Market Breakfast, Spinach and Goat Cheese Omelette to Burrata Cheese (ala carte)... so good to share and satisfying for your own portion. We took back Chocolate Crossiant, Dungarees, Pretzels... and way too much sweets to say no to.

We love Bottega Louie and always meet up with friends when we are in town. It’s great for a weekend brunch because people don’t mind going to Downtown in this area with plenty of parking options and the great French inflected brunch/lunch. I’ve recommended it many times and people have always enjoyed it- and then end up recommending it to others.

Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
