Sandwiches, salads, bowls, and smoothies. Some grab and go yogurt parfaits, cookies, croissants and pies and cakes. All vegan. Many gluten free options. Great gluten free oatmeal cookies, also sugar free cookies that are delicious. Croissant and cinnamon buns also yummy. Love the Leds Special...smoothie and Artichoke Melt Panini. Very friendly service and nice casual comfortable interior.More
Let me start by stating I'm not a vegan. I'll get bashed for this but I don't really like vegan food. However, this place could change me. I went to GTC and had their a few of their dishes. I went with 2 friends and...we split our meals. Doing this, I got to taste several of their offerings. All I had to say was WOW, who knew vegan food was so good. I have been to Gracias Madre and Gratitudes (i think that is what is called), too lazy to google it. I have several vegan friends so I didnt' have a choice. They were good but not amazing. Nothing to convert a meat eater, that's for sure. If anything, only validates my reasons for eating meat. BTW, Gracias Madre had the best spicy margaritta I have ever had. But I digress. GTC's food was so amazing, I have been back 4 times now which is saying a lot since I work about 4 miles away. I have already planned to go there this Wednesday with a vegan friend. Someone gave a bad post and one of the things he/she stated was that it was tasteless which I have to totally disagree with. If anything, I thought it had more flavor than any other vegan place that i have been to, which is only 3. If the the owner were my personal chef, I would give up meat. But he's not, so I won't. But at least now I have optoins. I have tried their B Special, Pesto for You, B Loved, and some salads. All amazing. on my next trip, I'll have to try their pasta, owner is Italian so I can only imagine the pasta will be twice as good. Take it from a meat eater, this place makes you think twice.More
Really friendly staff all round and exceptional food. The mocha cake is something else -- and even gluten free!!
It's sad to have to write this review due to wanting to support small local restaurants but theres got to be a line. I'm a vegan and am very familiar with this type of cuisine and also come from a family who are restaurant owners....The food came out cold and tasteless, after it took ages for it to come out, the place only had a few tables who already had there food. One of the staff decided to have his dinner at a front table, while our food I guess sat there. The chai was as if you ordered just heated almond milk with a dash of cinnamon.?! Really. So, we asked to get our food heated up and one dish came back being a soggy panini. Wouldnt you think maybe to remake it if thats the case? Also, the sides were wrong again as this happened two days before when I ordered a sandwich but, I didnt speak up until it happpend the second time. Then we left to find another place to eat due to our horrible experience. Thank God for the yummy indian hole in the wall next door due to being so hungry! I spoke to the owner on the phone which felt like she wanted to just argue with me! If I were a restaurant owner, I would be grateful to get this feedback but which I stated this to her. The end result was her saying maybe come back in to get something for free. Lol No, I want my funds back from my aweful experience and not to come back due to the rudness! Horrible!More
I agree with all the positive messages here This was introduced by friends who know LA better than me and omg it’s wonderful It’s communal seating , a few tables and the service is super friendly and chill The vegan sauce sandwich was so tasty..., the cauliflower soup just right in texture and taste. The vegan burger must be a best seller so yum . Their signature bowls are fantastic as well . Full of creative mixes of superfoods and nature’s loveliness in a bowl. Positive messages throughout and even the people who eat there seem casual and lovely . Highly recommended The prices are worth the value and pretty normal for LAMore
I am not a vegeterian, in fact after lunching here we dined at Cannibal which is more to my taste, nevertheless I found the food surprisingly palatable and the Cherry tart was actually superb. What impressed me most was the lack of hardware; as most...items are salads or drinks there was no need for super extractors, ranges or other expensive cooking tools found in almost all restaurants, just some blenders (in a noise proof room) and some toasters - and of course refrigerators but stocking these with vegetables is much easier than costly and more perishable items like fish or meat - uncooked grains would not even need a such storage. Falafels I have eaten in the past were crispier - but this one was tasty, décor was innovative and service very personable - it is nice to see an owner/chef actually involved - and not just involved with greeting customers. I say probably very good because if one is vegetarian or vegan this is probably 'very very good'.More
I was just there the other day right before an audition, I had their Tuna Melt Vegan Sandwich, it was so tasty and amazing and felt good that I was eating something super healthy. The staff were great, I met 2 from Italy, super nice...and really passionate about what they are making there. Will definitely go backMore

On our "make ten thousand steps a day" tour today we explored Pico Blvd - and found this cute café - what a wonderful place. And: I have sure seen places, but never one where a person devoted so much love into a Cappuccino.
