We haven't been here in several years so we decided to come back in for lunch. They have all our usual favorites and the service was excellent! I had tangerine chicken and it was perfect! This place has been around a long time and it goes to show that great food, great service and great reviews keep people coming back!

Been coming here a long time, moved out of town and whenever I'm back I make sure to stop by! For the price of lunch, you get a lot of food with great variety. Would recommended it to anyone. I'm sure to stop by when I'm home!

Great food, reasonable price,and quick
delivery. Food was great, visiting from out of state and I am a great connoisseur of food. And I have a saying." if a bigger person says food is good believe them because we know our food. Very good food and price is great.

gave it another try last year, wont be back.
Ordered a crispy chicken, it came boiled and over salted to death was terrible. Honestly the cleanliness and taste of fast food chains like pick up stix are far ahead of these once proud family style restaurants.
The chow mein, fried rice all very blah....If you like quantity over quality this is your destination.
Spring rolls were the only redeeming item here.

The food is delicious and the price is extremely fair. The portions of the food are generous and the selection on the menu will give you all of popular Chinese dishes. I will come again to try something different. Perhaps the Mongolian beef and chow mein :)

Golden Hunan is a local neighborhood eatery that offers good traditional Chinese food at decent prices. A pleasant atmosphere with friendly servers and fast enough service offering tasty dishes with free Chinese tea for all meals! As well, they offer a "healthy menu of steamed vegetables, tofu, fish and the like prepared without oils or starches along with sauces on the side should one decide the desire for such. Beer and wine available. Free delicious ice cream offered as a complimentary dessert with all meals.

Can't get enough of the great food here.. everything is fresh and taste great. We ordered to go this time and had everything we ordered (2 noodles. Combo fried rice, 2 large orange chicken, 2 broccoli beef, potstickers. Gave us free apps and cookies on top of our food ordered.
They know my family even after not going there a while..
This isn't a place to miss.. free I cream styt end of meal.

Great tasting traditional Chinese food with large portions and great prices. A hidden gem in the North Valley. Large separate room can be booked for parties and meetings.

The Golden Hunan was my go to spot in the mid 1980's, when I lived in the Valley. Every meal was as close to perfect as could be. The service was always exemplary. Last week we were in the Valley for vacation. It was my first time back in almost 30 years. I was amazed to see the Golden Hunan sign. Of course we went in for an early dinner. Nothing has changed. They are still serving up incredible dishes and providing phenomenal service. Go, You will not be disappointed.

It was my first visit to this place, which is set back on the east side of Reseda Blvd. just north of Devonshire. The staff was very pleasant and the service was very good. I chose the Beef Tomato and the Moo Goo Gai Pan. They also brought steamed rice, a couple of sauces, tea, and some fried wontons. The beef in the beef tomato was chewy and the sauce was very heavy. I could hardly taste the tomatoes. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was quite good. Snow peas, carrots, lots of tender chicken and mushrooms in a mild sauce. I'd come back and try some different dishes which might elevate things to very good.

Jeanie is the best waitress ever and even on a night when it was swamped she did what she does best, she kept everyone happy! It's true they were in need of more waiters & help this night but it was our choice to eat there! The food is delicious! Been going here for almost 30 years

I really like this place. Everything is very good to great. I especially love their BBQ spare ribs. Best of the west. Closest to NY Canton style ribs I have found in this part of the country. Don't miss the lunch specials. great good, lots of it and very inexpensive.

I've been eating at Golden Hunan since the early '80s. (The VERY early '80s. LOL) It has always been terrific. The food is great, the service is great. We've been dining here on Christmas Day for many years -- they are EXTREMELY busy on Christmas, so get there or call your order in early! My personal favorite dish is their curry chicken. Also great are the old standbys, broccoli beef or beef with snow peas!
