The food is wonderful, the place comfortable and quite Japanese, the service is fast and most gracious. I go there almost every day! Best sushi for reasonable prices!

We had lunch here on Friday. The lunch menu had a great selection and is a great value for what you get. I had the nigiri sushi combo, my wife had a cooked cod bento box and we got the katsu-don for our daughter. All the food was very good, was a very good portion and all cost under $15.... More

Delish X 1,000. Just moved to the neighborhood and this was the best sushi we found so far. Pretty busy place so definitely make a reservation. We ordered the spicy tuna on crispy rice, lobster roll and baked shrimp roll. These three are a must!!!Service is also very attentive!

It's pricier than most sushi stops on the Boulevard but this place has been consistently good for 30 years and still delights the taste buds every time. Try the spicy tuna on home-made rice cake or the sea bass cooked in foil. All the sushi is "ichi-ban'!

It's crowded, even on a Monday nite - but worth the wait! Every dish (we tried almost everything at our table), was amazing - perfect balance of fresh, clean taste, with bursts of flavor... We are from NY and read Studio City was a sushi lovers dream - Katsuya hit the mark! Service fast & friendly as well.

I have been to both locations and the food, service and long lines are the same. This location is ALWAYS packed with people at lunch and the daily special is always sold out if you get there after 1:00 PM. The food and the unique "sushi" creations are fantastic. Nothing is bad at this place and they are very inventive... More

I have been coming here with friends who are Studio City locals since 2001. The food is amazing and the way they cater for kids and regulars is impressive. My girls love the "lollipops", raw salmon wrapped in cucumber shavings, shaped into a lollipop. Staff are patient with the little ones. It's crowded and small and there is no jumping... More

Sushi here is fresh. However, their best value is their combination which was served in a nice platter and tasted really great.

I LOVE katsuya. Not only is the service amaaaaaazing (with manager coming in and asking if everything is good and if he could do anything else to make us feel welcome!) but they also accommodate your diet need. I am a vegetarian and the waiter went out of his way to let me know what he recommends and what other... More
