Dining at Village Pantry is like eating at your mom's or Auntie's house. It's fresh, organic, home-made real food. My faves are breakfast quesadilla, eggs Benedict, huevos rancheros, hash browns and #4 breakfast. This is not a hipster cafe. It's an old fashioned diner where...More

In between the two main drags in Los altos sits the unassuming Village Pantry Coffee Shop, long a mainstay in downtown LA. This morning I had the combination eggs, bacon & sausage, and biscuits and gravy. Service was quick, but the portions a bit skimpy...More

A real regular for locals, all organic and home cooking. We visited from the UK, having heard it was a real slice of the American way of life. Everyone was really friendly, large menu and the service was attentive, the coffee kept coming. Asked about...More

Found this little gem by accident last year. On our trip last week, we returned. I can only vouch for the breakfast. The absolute best breakfast in the area. The waffle with sliced apples and blueberries is to die for! You don't even need syrup....More

A basic restaurant - while the service was good, the food wasn't. Have tried this place several times, each because one of my friends has suggested it. Food is bland - to the point of tasteless.

This is a neighborhood place where locals gather for breakfast or lunch. They have the usual breakfast dishes as well as salads and sandwiches. Julie, the owner, is very welcoming and friendly. She always remembers my name and my usual order. That makes it special!

Traditional American breakfasts, served by super friendly people. Bring your dog and sit out in the back patio.
