We had dinner recently on a spur of the moment. We had not been there in a while and it was wonderful to see familiar wait staff, friendly as always. We've had many dishes there, pasta, pizza, fish, lamb shank, etc. We've never been disappointed, I especially love how accommodating they are with requests (I don't eat parsley and they... More

We have been to Pompeii lots of times and even order out. They will make you whatever you want, Italian style. Totally worth it!

We were in the mood for Italian food and headed to Pompeii for dinner. Two of us got the capellini pomodoro and it was great. The salads were also fresh and well prepared. The meatballs were also a hit with the youngest member of our group. This was a nice place to dine!

My wife always orders the Caesar salad and the clam appetizer. She splits these with our daughter when she can meet us there. I have enjoyed Chicken Marsala, various pizza and so many other dishes I cannot remember. This is one of the top go to places when in Los Altos.

We have gone by Pompeii many times over the last few years. Last night we had dinner with another couple. We had very good service and a nice dinner. The place was full on a Monday night. I had the calzone, which was huge and tasty along with a caprese salad which was great. Others had the ravioli with sage... More

We needed a place to grab a light dinner, and we had our dog with us, so preferably outdoor seating, as it was a warm evening. We popped into Pompeii and luckily they were not as busy as usual. We were promptly seated at one of their outdoor tables. I decided to order eggplant parmesan since it is too much... More

We were there for dinner, it was wonderful, nice and quiet, food was very delicious and pretty similar to that in Italy (we were in Rome and Florence 20 days prior to this dinner). Prices were reasonable (between 16 and 20 dollars for a main course) and service was great.

It is very popular during the lunch time. Many local older folks will partake lunch, and have left over to take home for a second meal. If there is a larger group (say 6), there is another section where one can have "lunch meeting". without interruption from the service personnel.

Pompeii has been in Los Altos forever. It is low key, food is good and the price is reasonable. It is a local's restaurant with a regular clientele. It is not trendy or flashy, just a place we will go when we do not feel like cooking. My husband and I go there regularly and never had anything to complain... More

We eat here every week after work. Nice people, good food, good service. Highly recommend the grilled artichoke appetizer and the melanzane main course.
