Never a bad meal here. My wife (princess) first started enjoying food here decades ago when it was only a takeout place. There is a reason it has grown and grown to a large restaurant. It is fantastic! I fell in love with it my first visit and always look forward to our returns. There have been many returns over... More

How refreshing. My husband is Phillipino and Spanish and was raised for most of his youth in Hawaii. Guess what we found...Hawaiian styled Manapua, aka steam buns featuring Charsu...aka Chinese barbecue. We had a tasters dinner, ordering several appetizers, each one was better than the first. Egg rolls, lettuce cups, barbecue pork and fried wontons. All amazing. As was the... More

This was a return visit to Chef Chu's for late week night Chinese dining. Great food and excellent service although there is a definite effort by wait staff to turn tables over rapidly. I had the Pineapple chicken and it was excellent. Also had beef skewer apps and they were quite tasty. The food here is superb with no "heavy"... More

We ordered a Classic Beijing Duck, because it was a speciality of the chef and the waitress told us it will serve two. It barely serve two and was the most expensive dish on the menu. We were so disappointed with our meal.

Larry Chu brought Chinese American Cuisine to a new level starting over 40 years ago. The food has gotten better and more interesting and the menu far more extensive over that time. Our family has celebrated birthdays and other things there many times and we are always pleased. We started as patrons when Larry had a tiny kitchen and steam... More

Awesome try the Mia tai food was great. Bartender Edwin was a machine. Beauty in motion. Each person had a different dish. They made them all gluten free so my wife could sample them all. Super people with great food. Thank you

Not fancy but excellent food--not your typical Chinese food. Great Mai Tai's & full bar. Note the wall with pictures of the famous diners; he has so many he can't display them all. Oh yes, there is a real Chef Chu who has created & served wonderful food for decades. Family owned.

I started coming her in the early 1980s. Food still just as wonderful as ever. Great Mai Tais! Wonderful prawns and roasted pecans, great lemon chicken. Arrive early because there is always a wait.

I tried this restaurant with my wife. I must say their friendly staff and service was greatly appreciated. There food delivery and timing was spot on. We were very pleased with our meal. We ordered pot stickers, hot and sour soup, egg roles, Mongolian beef, and tangerine beef. All the food was cooked to perfection and tasted great. There was... More
