Our son and his family took us to Los Altos a grill to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was just okay. The cornbread was yummy but the rest of the meal not very special. It was a weekday and not really busy but our server acted as if we were an imposition. Too bad...I would not recommend this place.

The chicken is roasted over a wood pit out front. My favorite is the kale salad with the roast beef dip sandwich. It is made with prime rib. The only reason I did not give this place five stars- it is noisy. So if you enjoy a lively restaurant with great food- give it a try.

Always crowded but don't let that fool you into thinking that the food is wonderful. Oftentimes the meat is under-cooked. So busy that the pressure is on to get the orders out. Booths all around are great if one weighs 250 lbs and a big belly. Otherwise, not comfortable.

I wish trip advisor had a negative rating scale so that I could adequately describe the wasted half an hour our group spent there - after having booked dinner in advance. We arrived - party of seven which included an 84 year man with poor mobility and sight, and a tiny baby. On our arrival we were directed to a... More

We tried a number of dishes, including the guacamole with hand cut chips, chicken and kale salad, beef, Mac and Cheese, and other options. (Split a delicious creamy chocolate dessert.) Portions were generous and well presented. The chickens are slow roasted on the premises and are juicy, well seasoned and excellent. Everyone thought the food was delicious. Service was attentive... This place is a great option for stellar american dishes including items like cornbread, bbq, burgers, amazing salads, Mac and Cheese. Their bar is solid and they offer some interesting wines. Consistent and always a winner.

Mu husband and I went to the Grill for dinner. This is Monday night and we got seated right away. On other nights, reservation will be a must. The serving portions are on the large side. Chances are you will have left over for lunch the next day. I ordered Thai Noodle Salad with grilled chunks of fillet mignon, mango,... More

We were in Los Altos and we passed by Los Altos Grill. We took a chance and went in . We sat at the bar and had the barbecued beef back ribs . It was so good - fall off the bone ribs. For appetizers , we had the skillet cornbread. Very generous portion. We couldn't finish it between the... More

I cannot for the life of me figure out why this place is always crowded--the service is truly chaotic and haphazard, drinks expensive, and some poor family next to us on the lovely porch had been waiting for an hour for their table and they had reservations. The only entertaining part of this place is sitting in the "porch" (overlooking... More
