Friends recommended this bakery to us and we are so grateful they did. We were there on a Friday morning and there was lots of well-spaced outside seating and live music! Plus you can bring your dogs! I can't wait to go back with the...rest of my family to try the entire menu. I had the Mushroom toast which was so, so good!More

Bob's Well Bread is a gem - always a line, but their breakfasts are fantastic. Love their very substantial avo toast, the darling egg in a jar, and french toast in particular. Good COVID practices too.

I can't wait to go back to Bob's Well Bread. During the time of COVID19, Bob's Well Bread offer sensible, well-spaced outdoor dining in an attractive setting. Enjoyed a wonderful Salad Nicoise, which was fab and generous in size. We ordered several bake goods to...go. The line to order the food was well organized too. Patrons order in the cafe/bakery and then find you a table outside. The wait staff brings your food out.More

This place is a must. It was my first time in Los Alamos and was given advice to visit Bob's. The line was quite long but once we ordered, our food and drinks came up quick and they were delicious. We both had breakfast sandwiches...and also took home a loaf of bread.More

On a whim, travelling back to Lompoc from Santa Maria, I travelled east on Hwy 135, just past the 101 Freeway junction, into Bell Av.; you go past the Union Hotel, and there it is, Bob's Well Bread, a popular place for breakfast, and lunch....It was about 2pm, but there was a short line on a Sunday The croissants were sold out, but I bought a baguette, some bagels and cookies. All good, should last us for a week, then think about going back, earlier than 2pm., before the croissants get sold out!More

Bob’s is a combo of French bistro and bakery. Lunch choices are good, while breakfast options are unique and delicious. The bread is as good as it gets. Overall, best option in Los Alamos

We met up with my husband’s 2nd cousin at Bobs for a familyreunion. We knew it must be good as the line was out of the door and it took a good 20 minutes to get to the counter. The choice of breads and pastries were...amazing and a difficult choice as we wanted to try nearly everything ,Bob was actually on the counter and we managed a quick chat with him as he had lived in the UK bat one point also I believe he was Big in the film world so retired to a small village and made bread! If you get the chance try it out or just get a delicious pastry. We were staying at Solvang so not too far to travel.More

We always go to Bob’s when we come to Los Alamos. The pastries are to die for and the coffee is great too. Don’t miss it! The secret is out though as the crowds were heavy!
