My wife and I stopped in for lunch. Nobody was in the restaurant and it took a few minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence. From there it just got better. Once the Thai teas were delivered, it was on. The drinks were great and the...food was even better. We ordered the spicy eggplant and the drunken noodles. Both were spectacular and the service was on par.More

What a great way to start a night out a awesome feed of Thai food. We have Thai a lot in Sydney so we love the freshness of Thai food and this place had Great flavours. Also the serving were of a nice size, we...had a selection of entree’s ordered which were very creative and full of flavour. The mains were very fresh and nice hot traditional Thai flavours which we love. Overall it was a great place with a great atmosphere and the Service was excellent will definitely go back next time in Longbeach.More

No parking but it's okay, it's a short walk from home. My favorites are the noodle dishes, curries, soups and Thai ice tea. Call your order ahead of time if you can. They got rid of the letter G combo meal which was all meats.......but it's ok. The owners are awesome.More

Great restaurant with good food. Their noodles are very good and their food is always fresh. The only downside is they use a lot of soy. It’s a good food alternative in a pinch for a quick lunch or dinner or a fast food craving.

I came across this restaurant via TA. We ordered the chicken Panang Curry, spicy chicken eggplant and shrimp Pad Thai. All were absolutely amazing and would definitely recommend you come here to eat. Portions were healthy and flavor was on point. I ordered us all...3 plates Thai hot which I would say was scaled down however very spicy and GREAT FLAVOR!More

Sometimes, you just get in the mood for Thai food. I always wanted to try Thai Silk, because I see its pretty sign on Broadway. So one day, we went in. Everything is flavorful but not overpoweringly so. I had the veggie salad, which came...with peanut sauce! The combination was meant to be. And the iced tea is delicious. I went back a couple of weeks later and had the curry noodles. I'm sitting here slavering just thinking about them. There are plenty of vegetarian dishes and I think vegan. But what got me more than the food was the sign on the wall. I hope they're still doing it, but anyone adopting a senior cat or dog (7 years old or older) from the local shelter will get $25 toward a meal! That's something! They had me there!More

Stopped by late in the afternoon, and was the only person in the restaurant. The owner was doing some touch up painting on the walls, and to his credit, immediately stopped when I sat at a table. Lunch was really good, and service was nice....Close proximity to my hotel was the main reason for my visit. Well done.More

For the average dinner it's a good food choice. The food is flavorful and fair priced. They have several menu options and offer dinning in or take out - not sure about delivery. Not many options for gluten or soy free! Pretty quick service -...most orders are ready in about 10 - 15 minutes from ordering. Most items are drenched in soy which is good for flavor but bad for your health. I can't complain about the food but if you're eating for health it's not the ideal place - if you're focused on flavor - eat up!More

We our food delivered by a courier company. The restaurant also has a delivery service. We ordered 4 entries. 2 pad thai, one yellow curry and a mint noodle. They were all ok but not anything special. The yellow curry was pretty thin and didn't...have much flavor. The pad thai was kind of sweet.More

I have been to many Thai restaurants; this one is OK. Nothing unique or special about it. The decor inside is rather plan. Good service

Good food cooked to your preferred spiciness level by cheerful staff. Food is presented in traditional Thai style tableware. I don't have much Thai food experience but I would rate this a good experience.

I've been here a few times, and the food and service have always been excellent. I keep getting the spicy dishes, like the catfish and mint noodle, because I can't resist ordering them! The catfish especially is served cut in pieces rather than as a...slab, gives a good tingle on the tongue, and isn't fishy at all. I've had the beef ribs too, very tender and flavorful. The service is always excellent and the staff are very nice. For take-out orders, I am impressed by how they carefully wrap the entree in foil to keep it from getting the rice soggy--it shows how much they care about quality. Parking at lunchtime is OK, but street parking at dinnertime is tough, which is why a lot of people opt for delivery, or take-out: stop the car at the curb, run in, and run out with the food. The only reason I'm not giving this five stars is because this isn't the kind of place you think of when you think of a "five-star restaurant"--it's not fancy and you wouldn't dress up to come here. But if you're looking for a small, casual place with great food and service, give 'em a try!More

My husband and I ordered from them, and one of the dishes we ordered was wrong. It was a coconut chicken soup, not the kung pao chicken. We called back to correct the mistake, and I was told they'd have to speak to the driver,...who then called me back 30 minutes later, yelled at me, and hung up on me. Now, obviously there was a communication barrier. He must not have understood me when I ordered. (I was looking at the online menu, which doesn't have numbers listed, so we had rely on, you know, English.) But regardless, this is terrible customer service. I called right away to tell them of their mistake, was very reasonable about it, and did not deserve to be treated that way. I never did get any dinner that night. The soup itself, which my husband ended up eating, was very average. His pepper steak was runny and not particularly good. I would avoid. The best Thai in Long Beach is May's, but they don't deliver. It's worth the drive to pick it up.More

Thai Silk is a small restaurant on Broadway in East Long Beach. It has good curry, the spiciness made to your order. Also good is the spicy eggplant with tofu (tofu can be cooked to your order). Service is prompt and attentive. The restaurant is...clean and does a nice mid-day business, including deliveries to the surrounding area. There is a lunch special menu, with most dishes about $6.00, including a salad and soup. While the salad is small and a typical green salad, it is good and compliments the lunch. The soup (won ton) is not particularly spicy, but has some flavor. A favorite is the Panang Curry (vegetable). It is also available with tofu, beef, chicken, or pork. Again, spiciness is based upon your request. The full menu has a very large variety of dishes (more than one would expect in this small a restaurant), running the range of typical Thai to somewhat unusual. You can ask for adjustments to the menu dishes and they are typically accommodated. The restaurant seats about 20 customers. If you are looking for a small, quiet, family-friendly Thai restaurant, this may suit your need.More
