Our second time eating here when visiting Long Beach. Both times we’ve been given outstanding service. The food is excellent, as is the value. The wait-staff is friendly and attentive. My dad eats here often, and they make him feel like family. The owner/chef came...out to greet us. They make their own vinaigrette for the house salad and it’s very good. The entrees are filling. They serve refreshing mimosas and peach Bellinis at a great price too, and offer a senior discount on the food.More

We had been there before years ago. The food is still good. They could show more care for the plastic plants that adorn the patio area.

My second visit here and the food and service are good and fast. Very tasty meals. And friendly staff. Walking distance for the ocean.

This restaurant is under new management. But I've eaten there twice in the last week. I had a omelette and a Mediterranean salad for lunch. Both were very delicious. The patio is comfortable despite persistent flies. Today we had the white wine Sangria. Oh wow!...I recommend it. Prices are very reasonable. And we didn't have to wait a minute for a table.More

Eaten here several times. The ambiance and location is amazing with inside or outside dining on the patio. There is often live music on the weekends and the staff is always pleasant. The food is always on par meaning I’ve never been disappointed or unsatisfied....They have multiple options for vegans and meat eaters alike. They remember your name as well as your food preferences by your second visit. This is a great place for dinner or just drinks with friends, family or couples. It’s a short walk to the beach or 4th street and it’s in a well lit area.More

Our meals were delicious - a mixture of Greek and American standards. However, both times I've been to this restaurant the service has been somewhat inattentive due to understaff conditions.

We went here on a Sunday afternoon as we had read it had great food and a huge patio that allowed dogs to dine with their people. It was busy but not overwhelming so (no wait, some open tables at all times). Either the place...was short staffed or the staff was inept because everything seemed to take so long with multiple asks (for water, eating utensils, the check at the meal's end, etc.) and tables around us sat dirty without anyone bussing them and this attracted more flies. We had ordered the wrapped grapes leaves and a salad to split before our meal. The grape leaves came and they were decent (though not as awesome as the homemade ones at Kafe Neo a few blocks away) so we were hopeful. The sangria is available by the pitcher only though placards on the table state otherwise. It was fruity and sweet and tasted of very little alcohol but it was icy cold for the hot day. Eventually our entrees arrived....at the same time as the salad. My kebobs were okay. The steak was too fatty. About two cups of rice accompanied the main. The guy at the next table was laughing at the platter of rice they brought him with his vegetarian dish; he took 2/3 of everything to go it was so much food. That is the one positive: if you are really hungry, this is the place that fills its plates. And while our dog liked the chunks of steak, we have no plans to return here since so many other really good restaurants within walking distance, but we are glad we tried it.More

Nice Courtyard that has a tall wall between the busy street and the restaurant and it is dog friendly. Very relaxing location for a weekend brunch.

Went here this Mother' Day for dinner, chose because it was one of the few places that could actually get us in last minute. The restaurant itself is very attractive, rustic look overall, nice patio with multiple fire pits. Despite holiday, it was mostly empty...(should have been a clue). Waiter very nice, we ordered drinks and appetizers first. Appetizers came (calamari excellent), but no drinks. We asked again....waited, still no drinks, had to ask again, finally received AFTER we had finished appetizers. There were 5 of us, and 1 by 1 dinners arrived, NOT all together. In fact, 4 of us were completely finished eating our main courses before the 5th person in our party even got their food! By then the rest of us were ready to leave. Waiter then informed us that only 1 kitchen person working that night (ON MOTHER'S DAY?!), which should have been told to us before hand. We informed the waiter to just pack up the dinner since 4 of the 5 of us ready to leave. Restaurant should have taken the mean off tab, but never did a thing, charged us full price. Overall, quality of food average, and obviously service not great, which looking back explains why this was the only restaurant in area empty on a holiday. Will not go back.More

Vegan and meat eaters rejoice! I was so happy to find a restaurant at which neither my husband or I had to compromise. The food options were wonderful and the service was excellent. We ate inside near the fireplace - very quiet and relaxing. The...portions were large. Highly recommend. Only downside is the parking - there is none! Take Uber rather than driving. Worth the trip and one of the best meals we had.More
