Stopped in Louisiana Charlies on a daytrip to Long Beach and Shoreline Village. COVID had so many other places shut down, but this place was accommodating and allowed us to dine on the patio with our little dog. Food was ok. Beer was cold. Service...was adequate given the COVID protocols that Cali had implemented.More

I'm sorry, I got the Crawfish Etouffee and it was the worst I ever had. The yams were so sweet that i couldn't eat them. Collard Greens aka Glory greens. Even the Cornbread is disgusting. I tried to support. My family is from Louisiana. I...know Louisiana food. This is not it. I spent $36 on food and another $20 on tips and fees. It was not worth it. I tried to support but I didn't like the food.More

One of the few restaurants that were open while visiting the shoreline. Extremely overpriced and literally taste like garbage! The worst $70 I’ve ever spent on food. On top of that, how do you spend $70 for a family of four?! Ordered the catfish dinner...which only had one small piece of fish. Wife had hot wings which were not even fully cooked. The kid pizza was not pizza, it looked like a slice of bread with cheese on it. Kid corn dog seemed like it was old and reheated. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TOME OR MONEY! Disappointed does not even begin to describe my experience.More

We were strolling in area around dinner time so we came here for red rice and beans. We sat on the back patio and watched the boats coming and going into the harbor. The views were lovely! The rice & beans, however, had too mush...sausage for my liking. Had this dish in New Orleans and there they prepare it differently using less meat. Otherwise, it was quite tasty! Meat lovers would be pleased. It certainly was a popular venue—very crowded, many people quite dressed up (winter balls in area).More

We went to Louisiana Charlie's to celebrate my mom's birthday. They don't take reservations and can't seat or handle large parties of 8. Separated our party despite telling them how many were in the party. Too many nonsensical policies. Six out of the 8 people...arrived and they needed everybody there and still separated our party. What was the purpose of waiting if we weren't going to be seated together? Then they claimed they gave away the table they had for us. I ordered the fish and shrimp platter and had to be comped because the cook didn't see it on the ticket. The food lacked flavor. The only tasty food was the Gumbo Nachos. Red beans and rice and jambalaya were bland tasting. The peach cobbler was decent. We will not waste our money or time with this place!More

Just walking in front of this restaurant you get a chance to see the great seafood choices available at this restaurant. Fresh crabs, lobster, fish amongst other fabulous dishes. You won’t be disappointed. Large portions, great meal choices and fresh area food just have a...little patience as it’s seems to have a good client following an has a little wait to be seated. Moderately priced and perfect for large groups.More

We stopped by for dinner on a Wednesday night. We were a little shocked by the menu prices but the food was very good and we enjoyed the meal. I recommend the steamed and spiced seafood plates for 2 what keeps the price down per...person.More
