Since we both went to Long Beach State, we travel here to have Joe Jost's special, a side pickles eggs with pretzels, of course Beer, I don't drink...it doesn't matter, the atmosphere is what's makes it. We been coming here since the 1970s. 😎 place to come.

If you've never been check it out. It's located off Anaheim Blvd. in Long Beach, CA. The beer is cold, the food is hot, everyone's real friendly. Kick back and enjoy a game of pool or a ball game on one of the many t.v.'s. It's a must see!!

Service = Fantastic Atmosphere = Dive Bar Classic Schooner of Beer = Perfect Joe's Special = Heaven One of my favorite dive bars in the world. Day or night, weekday or weekend, it's always popping and always fun. Grab a brew, shoot some pool, peek under the plastic overlay on the JJ Calendar for a treat!!

Two or three places I always try and hit when in town (other than Mexican places). Tommys, philllipes, and here. Get off the freeway, have a special (made... More

We went on Christmas Eve and it was a straight up family friendly party!! Pickled eggs are the stuff of legend but the sandwiches rock too. Nice puck shuffleboard and snooker tables. It's one of a kind, it's awesome and I am afraid maybe becoming too popular!

Recommended by a friend, went and had a couple of beers, some peanuts and brought the T shirt :) Cheap and cheerful with some great memorabilia on the walls like original posters for the Long Beach Grand Prix

Never miss a chance to drop in (usually around lunch time) for a beer and a special (sausage sandwich) add pretzels and a pickled egg. Lots of locals.

If you want authentic Long Beach, stop by Joe Jost's. You won't get the best beer in the world, but it's cold and perfect for the environment. The price can't be beat and the food is great, especially if you don't wan't typical bar food. And don't forget to pick up a t-shirt -- you'll see people wearing them no... More
