I decided to go to Park Pantry today for lunch. I ordered the Fish and Chips. BIG MISTAKE!! This was the most DISGUSTING plate of Fish and Chips, mostly fries, by the way, that I have ever had. The fish was dry and chewy and...the batter was crunchy to the point of irritating my teeth. I wasn't impressed with the cole slaw either!! I was too embarrassed to complain or send the dish back but that is exactly what I should have done. I shudder to think of how old the fish is. If you choose to eat at Park Pantry, PLEASE do NOT order the Fish and Chips. It's not worth the almost 20$ they charge for it. I'd also like to say that it's time for either a good deep cleaning or a remodel. The restaurant is fairly dirty and the carpet in some places is shredded. I'm not sure I'll ever go back. If I do, I'll never order the Fish and Chips again.More

Decent place. They have pretty good breakfast and large pastries. The service always sucks tho. They have a couple outdoor tables and a good amount inside. They close pretty early though. Pre covid they were always busy, especially for breakfast, so I guess Long Beach...agrees they have pretty good food.More

It was the first experience of American food for me and my 2 friends, we went in for breakfast and was impressed by the range and vegan options as one of our party is vegan. Staff were incredibly friendly, food was quick, warm and lovely....It was probably the best food we had in the two weeks there. Staff and customers all took time out to chat and find out about our trip, I’d come back to long beach just for another breakfast here!More

When we parked we noticed that there was no line. Normally there is a line out the door but we got in fast. My wife and I split breakfast We had bacon and eggs with buckwheat pancakes and it was plenty , you get 5...pieces of bacon and 3 large pancake as well as potatoes so it was more than enough. Our friends split as well but they had French toast and bacon and eggs They did not even finish the potatoes Grazie BreakfastMore

We've been going here for 20 years and the food is as good as it's always been. I love the cornbread especially...and definitely have some pancakes. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only issue is parking, it's street parking and shared parking with the...local park, but they've added a little. Not the restaurant's fault. It's worth a stop for sure.More

Several restaurants in the area don't open early enough for a decent hour breakfast and I stumbled upon this place and was so happy for it. It has a great selection for breakfast and lunch and super friendly service. I sat outside and enjoyed the...fresh air, nice people, and did some people watching all the while enjoying a fantastic breakfast and lovely weather. It's midrange pricing but it's definitely good cuisine and worth the few dollars more than something that's a chain. I will definitely come back here when I'm in town again. I had a delicious latte and a beyond flavorful Eggs Florentine.More

We've been stopping by for dinner since the 80's and have always had a delicious meal. Last evening, three of our party of four had the Cobb Salad and we were all impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the quantity (took leftovers home...and had them for lunch). This place has been around since the mid-50's and the menu and atmosphere are a close duplicate. Nothing fancy or spectacular, just good, down home food and friendly service. Also the perfect family-type place to take your kids.More

I come here almost every time I visit Long Beach. Service is always good. Prices are very reasonable. The breakfasts are really tasty and filling. This was my first time coming for lunch and I was not disappointed! I had a beef sandwich with fries....The meat was tender and flavorful. Before leaving I bought one of their fresh-baked cookies to take with me. The peanut butter cookies are the best!More

Fell like you’re stepping back in time in a classic diner. We had lunch. Split pea soup (a Wednesday special) was very well made. Retained a bit of texture from the vegetables and very tasty. Salad was very fresh and Cajun Spice Salmon with steamed...vegetables and lemon was just as it should be - zingy, fresh and plain.More

A day after arriving from a transatlantic flight we had the most reviving breakfast at the park pantry. The Omelettes are perfect for the start of the day, if you’re not super hungry you might want to consider fruit instead of hashbrowns as the side...😃 The waitress also gave us some suggestions on what to do next and where to be careful. Cheers for the park pantry 😀More
