The lounge and restaurant are currently closed for renovations, but the menu is being served in another space that is quite nice and which offers lovely views. One previous review called it over-priced, but it's well in line with all the other over-priced things in CA (restaurants, hotels, parking, plastic shopping bags...). It's not cheap, but the Beef Welling with... More

The famed dining room was closed during our entire 5-night stay on the ship. Be sure to ask if it is open when booking...in fact, better yet, ask what is closed because there were other portions closed, too.

The food and the service here were very good. It's a nice place to go for a quiet dinner. It is pricey, but a good choice for a nice dinner.

Fantastic Steak House, Ratings say 5 star, ambience probably an almost 4, but food and understated service a solid 5. This is a don't miss restaurant. Chateaubriand for 2 and and an excellent, not over priced wine selection!

For a restaurant named after Winston Churchill and on the historic Queen Mary, you expect more history. Instead expect a basic hotel restaurant with over-priced steaks and standard cocktails. Long Beach has better restaurants. If you're into Churchill or history, treat yourself to a book from amazon.

We were staying the night aboard so we ate here. We looked at the menu online & made a reservation. The menu we saw online was different then the one they gave us; when I asked about this they said it was a special menu for only a certain time; luckily we were within that time frame. Its a bit... Our family wanted a location with white tablecloths, attentive wait staff, dining for discriminating palettes, strolling after dining with interesting sites, holiday lovely, priced reasonable -- for Christmas Day. Sir Winston's at the Queen Mary exceeded my expectations. The reviews I read before dining proved to be 'spot on'. Champagne to start, lovely red wine with the beef and yummy... More

Our first visit to Sir Winston's restaurant began with kind & professional attention by the Maitre D'. A five-thirty reservation mix-up was quickly resolved and we were seated promptly! We had driven for an hour from So.Orange county; to celebrate Christmas & my daughter's successful, 1st semester at Johns Hopkins University! We arrived with high anticipation. The white linen table... More

We had a very nice anniversary celebration dinner at Sir Winston's on board the Queen Mary Hotel. We were seated around 6 PM. The hotel front desk was very accommodating and helpful in changing our reservation from a later time. The restaurant has a fine dining, historic atmosphere with wood paneling throughout, subdued lighting, Churchill photos in the entrance lobby,... More
